I'm a GC in Sarasota and I'm impressed with Sutter Roofing Service. I did a commercial job in Siesta Key and Sutter was in charge of the roofing. Joseph Buchanczenko, the Director of Operations for Sutter Roofing, was very professional and efficient throughout the whole process. You don't see these days many companies that deliver exactly what they promise. That's why I took a moment of my busy day to write a review.

Horrible company, terrible best practices... who leaves a gaping hole on the roof during heavy rainfall? Sutter Roofing is currently replacing our roof in our condo unit and they left the roof exposed before heavy rainfall which flooded half of our condo. The water is coming through our vents, the ceiling, our ceiling fan, and have killed our LED lighting. Their attempt at a fix? Have servepro come out, run dehumidifiers, and spray a plant based microbial substance. We obtained a 3rd party protocol inspection that details that the drywall, molding, lights, fan, and other adjacent walls be removed, dried out, and replaced as needed in order to prevent further damage. However, Sutter Roofing does not want to take ownership over these steps and is currently opposed to taking further action to remedy the situation. I'd stay away from this company as they don't take ownership over their mistakes and don't want to fix what they created.
