Roofing Solutions of Tampa

Had Paul's company put a roof on my house in November of 2017. They did a decent job but fast forward 6 years, I've now got nails popping up in some areas. They seem to pride themselves on their 10 year warranty but it doesn't mean a thing if they don't stand behind their work and provide follow up service. I have called their office once or twice a month since the end of June. Twice a woman answered and told me Paul would get out to see the roof very soon. The other times it went to voice mail where I left unanswered messages. No one has come out or even returned any of my calls. I recommend to avoid Roofing Solutions of Tampa.

Opinions vary and I understand not everyone has had the same experiences that I have had. Having said that, I have used Roofing Solutions for multiple roofs over multiple years. I am not a friend, neighbor or in any way related to Paul. I have found him to be a reasonable and fair person. I have never had a single leak on any job he has done. The prices and the quality met or exceeded expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend Roofing Solutions to my friends and family and have done so for many years. Thanks Paul - Keep up the good work.

New roof was installed by Roofing Solutions several weeks ago. Initial contact with Paul was professional and courteous. He told me it may take 1.5 days depending on the weather but the team would work all day if possible. He also stated he would need to leave the trash trailer all day but may remove in the evening. Paul left before 8am and never returned to the job site. I had no idea whom was in charge of the team when I needed to ask a question. About 4:30pm the house was no where close to being completed so I sent Paul a text about Day 2 and if he would be removing the trash trailer from my driveway on Day 1. No response at all. Workers decided to try to finish in one day I guess because they moved very fast to get it done. They did not stop until almost 9pm. Again, I had no one to ask any questions and received no response from Paul. About 8pm another person showed up to haul of the trash trailer and take pictures of the roof. The problem I incurred was the lack of daylight to clean up and remove nails and tools used for the roof installation. They were in such a hurry to finish, there was not enough light to clean up my driveway and yard. They workers left at 9pm with the trash trailer and i have yet to have any follow-up from Paul. I spent the next hour on my driveway picking up nails(25 of them) before I could park any of my three cars in the garage or driveway. The following day I spent another hour picking up trash and several tools left behind in my yard.(Pretty important since I have a dog and yard mowing was coming that day). Although I am glad to have completed the install in one day, I did not appreciate the rush and failure to clean up adequately nor the lack of follow-up or response from Paul

My wife's profession has her work with various home repair vendors, and when it comes to roof repairs and replacements, Roofing Solution of Tampa is one of the very few who do a quality job at a fair price. Call backs for issues or problems after the completion of a project is extremely rare. Ended up using Roofing Solutions for our own home and the owner, Paul, addressed all our questions up front and provided excellent communication on timelines and expectations. We were informed to mow our grass a few days prior to roof installation so it would be more effective for the magnets to catch any nails during the clean up and had no issues there. The price was exactly as quoted. The crew arrived right on time, never damaged our gutters, and added a beautiful roof which passed inspection. After a week, and a few storms, I can not see any issue thus far. As a person who has had a new roof installed, and a wife who tends to only receive positive reviews from their quality of work, we feel confident recommending Roofing Solutions of Tampa. Please note that any person not looking to do a roofing project by the book, such as avoiding pulling a permit when necessary, should consider an alternative roofer.

Paul Gallagher with Roofing Solutions has done three roofs for me in the past 10 years, On April 2018 Roofing Solutions of Tampa installed a new roof on my house, they offer a 10 year warranty with all new installations of roofs, but from the start it was nothing but problems. They came out several times trying to repair the leak on the new roof, but was never successful. The last time I called Paul Gallagher with Roofing Solutions his response about the problem was “I don’t believe you anymore, sue me“ I am left with a big hole in my ceiling and a roof that leaks for the last almost 2 years now.
