Roofing Companies Florida
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
This policy explains how Roofing Companies Florida collects, uses, and shares information when someone browses the directory, requests quotes, submits or manages a company listing, pays for a membership, or contacts us.
Information we collect
We collect information a person chooses to provide, including name, email address, phone number, city, roofing request, consent evidence, company details, Florida license number, and supporting documents. We also collect operational information such as IP address, browser or device details, page and referral data, and submission time for security, attribution, and service operation.
How we use information
- Validate and route homeowner requests under the disclosed direct and general matching rules.
- Review, verify, publish, and manage company listings and ownership.
- Activate and administer memberships, Gold city seats, billing status, and customer support.
- Respond to questions, corrections, cancellation, refund, and privacy requests.
- Detect spam, fraud, misuse, and security threats and improve directory operations.
How homeowner requests are shared
A direct request is shared with the selected eligible active Gold company when it serves the requested city and service. If the selected profile is Free or Partner, that company may first receive a masked 15-minute upgrade notice that contains no homeowner contact details; without eligible Gold activation, the request moves to Gold matching. A general request may be shared with up to three eligible Gold companies so the homeowner can compare responses. RCF does not sell homeowner information to unrelated data brokers.
Listings and public information
Approved company-listing details may be displayed publicly in profiles and directory pages. Private license evidence, account ownership records, billing identifiers, and homeowner contact details are not published as listing content.
Payment providers
The payment provider used at checkout processes payment-method information under its own privacy and security terms. RCF stores the identifiers, subscription and payment status, amount, currency, and event records needed to activate, reconcile, cancel, or refund a membership. RCF does not store a customer’s full card number or bank-account credentials.
Service providers and legal disclosures
We use service providers for hosting, operational email, payment processing, security, and necessary location resolution. They receive only the information needed for their function. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate fraud or misuse.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for directory operation, verification, billing and tax records, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or remove inaccurate personal information, or withdraw marketing consent, through our contact page. Transactional account, payment, security, and legal records may be retained when required. Browser settings can manage cookies, although blocking essential cookies may affect secure forms or sign-in.
Children
The directory is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the directory changes. The current version will be posted here with a revised date. Send privacy questions or requests through our contact page.
