Modern Roofing

I hired Larry Kelley from Modern Roofing to put a brand new roof on my single family home. This roof has leaked in different spots every time it rains since they completed the job. It is the worst experience I’ve EVER had with a contractor. When he has come out to see what’s wrong- He lies and says it’s fixed and it’s not. Last night it poured and my roof leaked. I called him & he promised to show up this morning @ 8am and then doesn’t even come, no call, no show. Now he doesn’t answer any of my calls. He promised to rip up the roof and put a brand new one. LIES! He won’t even answer the phone now. I’ve wasted time, money and precious energy attempting for him to make right on his company’s shotty work. I am a single mother and feel completely taken advantage of. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT hire Modern Roofing. They are absolute Crooks!!!!!!!

Modern Roofing Inc is not represented well by its owner (Larry). An owner of a customer service business should be reliable, dependable, and HONEST! I had an addition built on to my house a few years ago and one of my friends recommended Modern Roofing. I decided to choose Modern Roofing because Larry seemed to care about customer satisfaction. In retrospect, I made a very big mistake! My roof started to leak and I contacted Larry many times to come fix the problem. To be fair, he sent someone out the first time I had a leak but the problem was never fixed. Currently, my roof is still leaking and Larry has been giving me the runaround for weeks! Just to make it clear, I have a 5 year warranty that has not expired yet. He should be ashamed and embarrassed but some people just don’t have good morals. I explained to him that mold can form due to the leak. Obviously, he does not care for my family’s health or his company’s reputation. It’s unfortunate that I had to give Modern Roofing Inc a bad review but it’s WELL deserved due to Larry’s Lies! Please do not use this roofing company if you want honesty and professionalism. So Shameful..

It was a disaster. They contracted to repair a portion of an overhang. They never changed the plywood, never put flashing in, yet they doubled the price of the job within five minutes of their appearance. In four months time It started leaking, the owner promised to come and see the difficulty. He never repaired and never again answer the phone. Do you self a favor. Stay away from Modern roofing. It’s a fraud

Hired this company to put a new ruff on my house 5 years ago. Fast forward to a few weeks ago I noticed a small stain on my sealing. I call up the company spoke to one of the owners I simply asked if they could come out and take a look, I was more than willing to pay if a repair was needed. I got the runaround for 3 weeks then they just stopped taking my calls. Terrible after sale service I would not recommend this company to anyone. Leaks on a 5-year-old roof and no call back very disappointing. 535 36th

Originally they did my roof and my neighbors 21 years ago (Swanson) I was pleased with the work at that time. Now they don't call back at all. I have leaks and of course I would pay to fix. Swanson ignored my calls last year I left numerous messages. Called this year tried the partner and never received a call back. Very discouraging and disappointing to actually have used this company and they don't seem to care about their previous customers.
