Hi my name is Ekram I'm a realtor and have used Mr. Abe as my inspector for one of my closings which happened to be a very important closing million dollar plus this gentleman and his the staff went up and beyond to do this job , he is very professional and experienced . All I can say worth every dollar for his services as he saved my client tons of money. I do recommend American building engineers inc to all whether you're buying selling building have a consult with them they are awesome .

I used this firm for three home inspections. With two of them I asked if they were able to complete a 4 point inspection as well as a wind mitigation report as required by insurance companies in south Florida, and have a specific format to follow. They said they could do it and I paid the additional fees over and above the regular inspection. When these reports were sent to the insurance companies, they were not completed to meet their requirements. I complained to A.B.E. and was told that because they were engineers their report "supercedes any insurance company." This is hogwash and the reports were both rejected by the companies. My agent went so far as to send a copy of a wind mitigation report and 4 point inspection for them to follow. They still did not complete the reports by answering the questions nor providing the proper pictures. I then sent A.B.E. a certified letter requesting a return of the fees paid for the reports which were not completed properly and of no use. I was forced to hire another firm which promptly did the reports correctly and followed the requirements of the state of Florida. These reports are standard, simple, straight-forward reports. I would never recommend A.B.E. since they are either unwilling, unable or simply don't care to complete work they are hired to do. In addition, several of the appliances they said were in good working order were, in fact, malfunctioning and had to be replaced.

These guys are a joke do not do any work for these guys without getting anything in writing. They called me to help them with a project and it was urgent got the plans don’t with out a deposit and then try’s to hand me less then half of what was agreed upon. And his answer was that your illicit my you are getting this. Again do not work with these people crooks!!

I wish i could give Abe zero stars! He's a lying, Untrustworthy individual! I would never recommend him or use him again!
