We leased commercial space from Alpha Roofing & Sheet Metal, LLC. On May 4, 2026, we received written confirmation that our keys had been received, all move-out conditions had been satisfied, and that our $9,000 security deposit would be remitted to the forwarding address we provided. As of the date of this review, we have not received the deposit and have not received a response resolving the issue. Because of the lack of resolution, we are now exploring our legal options and consulting counsel regarding recovery of the deposit. As a community boxing gym serving local youth, families, and amateur athletes, these funds are significant. A $9,000 deposit represents resources that could otherwise be used for equipment, facility improvements, and programs that directly benefit the people we serve.
