E.W. MacDowell Roofing

Update 12/23. The ONLY thing good about a "small" roof leak that turned out to be a monster, is being able to call EWM to assess and repair. It wasn't just a roof leak this time, it was a whole rebuild of our rotting chimney box and redoing the stucco. (hard nasty task) EWM was on it quickly, communicated perfectly like always and returned promptly when the stucco was dry for painting. Each night the site was spotlessly picked up. They managed the whole mess, making it look easy. Just can't say enough GOOD about EWM and EVERYONE there. The roof of our house and barn hadn't been inspected/reviewed in a few years. I was dreading having to deal with a roofer again. Stop looking. Hire EW Macdowell. If google allowed 10 stars in a review, I would give them 11. :-) EVERY SINGLE person I worked with is what you dream for in responsiveness and concern. Our job was a bit harder as they couldn't be on our roofs with $-million horses in the arena. EWM are not horse people, but listened and quickly rebooked the balance of the work for another day. The site was spotless when they left.

I understand why there are all 5 star reviews after working with Evans and the whole MacDowell organization. From Caitlin in the office to the crew that worked on installing my clay roof my experience has been nothing but positive. Everyone was always timely, courteous, and efficient. My neighbors were so impressed as they watched the work being done that a few asked for a recommendation. Thank you, Evans and the MacDowell family, for a job well done.

Nothing short of excellence! Punctual, professional, detailed, honest! These guys worked so hard on the hottest day of the month and made sure everything was fixed and then some. Did more work than we even signed up for without adding to the invoice! Tony is honest, respectful and determined to do the best job in order to make sure his clients are happy. You call him, he comes! We will continue to use Tony and his crew for years to come and highly recommend him to anyone needing their roof repaired or putting in a new roof. 5 stars isn’t enough!

As a realtor, I ALWAYS refer Evans and his team to my clients because I know I can count on him ALWAYS to be honest and find any issues that exist. Additionally, I used his services myself to repair some hurricane damage after Hurricane Irma, and then last year to replace both my flat roof and my tile roof. I have complete faith in his services and know that he totally stands behind his work. His team is superb as well. They are polite and explain things along the way. They also keep a clean workspace- if you've done work in this industry, you know how important this is and how often this is not done. I had the pleasure of meeting Evans, owner of E.W. MacDowell, roofing a few years ago through the prior owner of my home. He and his team have served as an incredibly valuable resource in the maintenance and upkeep of the historic property. It is hard to find honest contractors, and Evans goes above and beyond.
