We have been under contract with Apex since DECEMBER! Here it is almost May and they have yet to install gutters. Roof was finally installed in March. First they told me gutters would be installed 2-4 weeks after the roof, then told 3-5 weeks. We are going on 7 weeks now and I only get lip service from the girls that answer the phone. Do not recommend.
Apex Roofing Contractors ignored our HOA’s No Soliciting sign and trespassed onto my property uninvited—despite a huge sign in my yard showing another company is already replacing my roof. They knocked, waking up my dogs and a nursing baby. If they can’t read signs, I wouldn’t trust them to read a roofing contract either.
Apex Roofing and Restoration was agressive, hostile, and refused to comply with my "No Solicitation " sign on my front door!! I had to confront two sales reps and than an immediate harassment from a "Project Manager". They parked and walked to EVERY home! Our HOA Community has clear signs marked "No Solicitation "...THEY DON'T GIVE A CRAP!
I despise this company. If you want roofers who can't properly put on roofs, and then threaten a lien against your home after they told you insurance would pay the remaining balance... then this is the company for you! To make it long: A year and a half ago, they told me I still owed money. After calling both my insurance provider and Apex roofing, I was assured that insurance would pay the remainder, and I didn't owe anything. Now, nearly 2 years after I was told I didn't owe anything they mailed me a paper that said they were going to file a lien against my home for an unpaid balance. I was taken aback by this, so I called them again. When I finally was able to get ahold of someone they also said "oh, insurance still owes money, we'll look into it" DUHH. I'm tired of them saying they'll "look into it" and then now threatening me with a Lien against my home. I paid the balance of money I don't owe because I don't know what else to do.. I'm only 26 and just trying to survive out here. All this not to mention that they installed a ridge vent where a ridge vent didn't belong. I have a pitched ceiling inside that doesn't have room for ventilation. The vent leads straight into my roofs insulation. After the roof was replaced I've had constant black mold issues along the top of my ceiling. I took the ceiling down and was appalled to also find wasps, lizards and cockroaches that got in through the vent and made their home inside my insulation. I have to replace the whole ceiling & insulation because of the water damage and mold issues caused by the ridge vent. If they remove the vent, and figure out the insurance money, I'll come back and change the review but as it is now this is THE WORST company, and you should NEVER hire them.
We have been under a contract with APEX since February 2022. I hope in June 2022 my house has the roof tile on. I followed their ¨ advice¨ and my roof tile was removed completely in February. Still I 'm waiting for THE NEW TILES. Kurt told, and promised me that tiles are coming between 6 or 8 weeks and now I have to wait until June 8th. another, competitive company was told me that I have to wait 4 or 5 , maybe 6 months for tiles, Kurt told me that he can get tiles soon and he couldn't. Please when you sign a contract Be careful, first verify every single thing.
