Paul at jto is great. Kept me informed the whole time and explained the product and options. I went with the pro plan which has the best shingle and the self sealing underlayment. It took them 1 and a half days and my yard and driveway looked cleaner than when they started. The price was a few grand less than what neighbors spent and I got a superior product. Oh, the only have w2 employees! No subs.

Their expertise and understanding of Florida’s roofing regulations, insurance requirements, and compliance issues gave me confidence throughout the entire process. One of the things I appreciated most was that I had very little need to communicate directly with my insurance carrier. Bob and Patrick handled the process efficiently, worked closely with the claims adjuster, and kept me informed every step of the way. They took the time to evaluate my policy and helped me understand my options. Given that my policy provided Actual Cash Value (ACV) coverage, I believe they helped me obtain the best possible outcome available under my coverage. The communication from the entire team was excellent. They promptly answered questions, addressed concerns, and ensured that all aspects of the project were handled professionally. In addition, they provided a cost basis for my property as requested, which was extremely helpful. The quality of the workmanship was exceptional, and the completed roof exceeded my expectations. First of all is the question of how I found out about JTO Roofing and Solar. In a conversation with an acquaintance of mine, I asked him if he knew of a reputable roofing company and this is when he suggested to contact JTO Roofing and Solar. I did the following and spoke to Account Manager Bob Stout. Bob came by to take a look at my roof to see what needed to be done. Bob recommended that I file a claim with my home owner's insurance, Liberty Mutual. I filed the claim online with Liberty Mutual. Since I am not a roofing expert in any way shape or form, Bob was my direct interface with the insurance carrier's adjuster, since he was familiar with this insurance carrier. My interaction and response with the insurance carrier's adjuster was assisted by Bob to ensure we were on the same page and I did not give the wrong response to the insurance adjuster when the insurance adjuster spoke to me and asked me questions - very important! The contract paperwork was drawn up to get the process moving. Bob answered any questions that I had concerning the process. I had a meeting with Bob at his company's warehouse to pick out the heavy duty shingles and other components for the job. After the permit was issued by the city, the new roof installation commenced, to rebuild the roof and apply heavy duty shingles. There was a considerable amount of work needed to replace roof decking and repair/rebuild several damaged truss ends before the actual application of shingles took place. However, the workflow of the job went very smooth and completed the following evening. (Started on a Thursday morning and completed the following Friday evening) These were professional roofers with decades of experience, so I had confidence that the job would be done right!! The process to get the re-roof project completed was smooth from start to finish. The communication with Bob and other members of his team was consistent and frequent to keep me up to date on progress. So in conclusion, I recommend to other home owners, DO NOT SKIMP on getting a quality replacement roof. Go with JTO Roofing and Solar and get the job done right!!

This is an update to our initial review below posted a year ago. We are very disappointed with how JTO is handling the leak and damages to our roof due to poor workmanship and poor quality of materials they used to replace our roof. We paid over $20k to have our roof Completely replaced with a new roof, install gutters and leaf filters. It’s only been a little over a year and we’re still having the same leak in our house. Our previous house in the same neighborhood just a few blocks away had the roof replaced in 2021 by The Exterior Company and we never had any issues even after all the hurricanes since then. JTO replaced our roof in 2023 and a few weeks later the leak started. Before JTO replaced our roof we never had any history of leaks in the house or garage. It was only after JTO replaced our roof that we continuously have the same leak issues in the same area of our garage. We overlooked this because they do provide good customer service. But their mediocre quality of workmanship and poor quality materials definitely needs improvement… I put in an excellent review initially because Dustin our project manager was very helpful but he’s no longer with JTO. I don’t normally update my initial review but this is very disappointing and after several attempts to get this resolved it’s still not resolved and so I had to update my review. I will update you with this ongoing issues to help other customers and future customers see transparency. “We were looking for a roofing company that we can depend on and have a long term relationship as we buy fixer uppers every year.
