When we learned many homes in our neighborhood had roof damage from a hail storm while we were away for the summer. A variety of roofing companies came knocking on our door. Instead of using an unknown entity, we contacted Acoma Roofing. They had put our roof on in 2004 and had done some repairs since. We trusted them, especially knowing they were locally owned, a long-standing family company. After confirming our roof was damaged, they helped us coordinate with our homeowners insurance company. When they discovered that in addition to the roof damage from the storm, we also had some issues with our chimney (not storm related), we trusted they knew what they were doing to execute the necessary repairs. Their staff communicated with us each step of the way. The workers were dedicated and cleaned up each day. We highly recommend Acoma.

When our Condominium Association was informed this year that our insurance company would no longer cover us for full roof replacement costs due to the fact that our roofs were approaching 20 years old, our Board of Directors decided to solicit bids from several vendors for total roof replacement on our seven buildings. In the end, we received bids from nine vendors, all of whom were properly licensed by both the state of Florida DBPR and the Pinellas County Construction Board. The Board ranked all of these vendors on presentation, quality (based on Google reviews, Angi, and the BBB), and cost, to come up with the selection of Acoma Roofing, Inc. to undertake our roof replacement project. To put it mildly, we have been awed by the top-down professionalism exhibited in every interaction we have had with the Acoma team. Everyone involved, from the owners, office personnel, and installation crews, have been courteous and accommodating in every respect. All permits were pulled and posted in a timely manner, and inspections were called in to the city as required. The installation crew was very respectful of our property and they bent over backwards to make sure that our unit owners were not inconvenienced any more than was absolutely necessary. Honestly, there is probably no neat and clean way to tear off an old asphalt shingle roof, but the crews covered landscaping with tarps where possible and ended every day by cleaning up all debris and blowing off all driveways and sidewalks. They were punctual, and very efficient in every facet of the tear-off and reinstallation process. If replacing a roof is something that only gets done once every 20 years it really makes sense to have it done professionally by people you can feel comfortable with. If you are thinking about roof replacement in the near future then Acoma Roofing, Inc. should be on your short list for serious consideration. Most highly recommended. Paul R. Major, President Alvarado Condominium Association, Inc.

After my first review and giving them a good review, I had to withdraw that. The corners on my house were the cut the drip edge ,were not cut right. The valleys were also cut so cooked that it looks like crap, I have a large hump in my roof due to not putting back the H clips that go on the seems of plywood or inproply nailed They also charged 300.00 for 3 sheets of plywood that they changed the first time they did the roof. 10 years prior. We had no leeks. The plywood they used was left over from another job . This is what gets me the plywood is like 46.00 dollars at Lowes or home depot how can they charge that? They also say if you give them a good review, they give you a gift card for somewhere, and we never got it. Now, so you know a little about me and my family. My dad owned a company called T&J Fram and Trim. We built most of the 2 storie homes in old sections of East Lake Woodlands and have done many homes throughout Pinellas County. I myself have worked for different roofing companies in Pinellas County . This was a warrantee job, so they made good money. I also would never use GAF shingles ever again. They are junk. I will be adding photos. They also got nail dabree in my pool, and it put rust stains all through my pool. Along with that, my mother stepped on a nail that was left on the pool deck, and she fell and injured her back. We are very disappointed in the work... luckily for us the roof is still under warranty.... they will never step foot on our roof again... notic how the corners are buckled and look at the hump in the roof. Poor craftsmanship!!! I also noticed that they never replaced rotten wood on the facia. Look how lose the drip edge is from the facia. What gets me is the city of Dunedin. Let this pass an inspection. Makes you wonder about them to...

Wonderful customer service. The guys they sent out to our house were knowledgeable, personable, efficient, didn't leave a mess, and were just a delight. They showed up exactly when they said and even called ahead to let us know they were on the way. I would absolutely recommend them.

Don't waste your time in calling this company about leak repairs. They only care about expensive re-roofs. I scheduled an appointment, the guy came for about 15 min said they would send me an estimate and never heard again from them. They may good for re-roofs, but definitely don't care about repairs.
