Hickman Metal Roofing

Hickman Metal Roofing installed our roof in 2007. It still looks like new! They were prompt, professional and did a great job. We also got a 33% discount on homeowners insurance because of the metal roof. It paid for itself in 9 years!

I just wanted to give a shootout to Derek at Hickman roofing. I noticed what appeared to be a water stain on the ceiling at my home, received his info from a colleague of mine that had a great experience, and had him come over. Derek promptly responded to my messaging, appeared on time, and spent roughly two hours in my attic/roof area. We determined the stain likely was from the new construction when built (house 5 years old), as no signs of moisture or staining was present from the roofline to the ceiling. Hickman roofing was not even my original builder/roofing contractor. If in need of a new roof or repairs, I highly recommend Derek and his team based on my experience.

I can highly recommend Hickman metal roofing. They installed an exposed fastener metal roof on my home in October 2025. The roof looks amazing and cost wise they were right in the middle of all the estimates gathered. Derek Hickman and the installation crew were friendly and professional. All calls / emails were answered promptly. I never had to chase any one down to get answers. I am very happy with the work they did.

We couldn't be happier with our beautiful new metal roof! The entire Hickman crew were friendly, communitive and professional. They were timely and cleaned all debris before they left. We highly recommend them!

Just a quick update now that I figured out how to edit my review. The Daryl I was referring to was Mr. Hickman’s son whatever his name is. The one that never returned multiple phone calls. I have since had the skylights removed by a company registered with the BBB and an A+ rating. The wood around the skylights showed water had been leaking so to me that was a sign of Hickman’s poor workmanship. I now have a company that will stand behind their work unlike Hickman. They returned phone calls unlike Hickman. Oh, I did have an HVAC company come out and do an inspection even though the mention in the response to my review was the first I’d heard about that. There was no condensation and nothing wrong with the ducts. HIckman outright lied about that and caused me to spend money that was absolutely not necessary to spend. Hickman is a company to avoid. My metal roof installed by Hickman’s is leaking. I attempted to get it repaired when it first started and Hickman sent out an older gentleman who looked at my ceiling and said “yes, you’ve got mildew on your ceiling.” He said he would send a crew out and never did. Multiple calls were not returned. The repair I paid for by an independent contractor did not work and I have been attempting to get this company to come and inspect and fix their leaking roof. Daryl Hickman has not returned a single phone call. I would never recommend this company.
