A-Plus Roofing of Key West

Please forgive this late review. Intentions may be good but sometimes life is overwhelming! I can't thank the exceptional people who run this locally owned company enough. A-Plus is a long time family business, father and sons and it shows in how they show up for their customers and the community. Six months ago part of my roof gave way. The new handyman said it was beyond his scope and told me I probably needed a new roof. Ouch.. Not something I wanted to hear. Rain was being forecast. Double ouch! In major anxiety I went to APlus for help, dreading the unexpected expenses and whole situation. From the moment I walked in, basically in panic mode, everyone in the office was helpful and reassuring. After I described the situation Anthony said he thought it might be repairable but he would assess it that day and put a tarp over the hole to protect from further damage. What a relief. Likely because of inferior roof repairs years before I owned my place, in the end it did need a new roof. The new roof was installed quickly with great skill and at a more than reasonable price given the realities of the Keys prices today. Everyone involved made the situation as painless as possible considering the circumstances. As an older person on my own I am grateful and really appreciate all the assistance I got from Anthony and Vinny and their dad, Vincent. The good news is an insurance rep inspected it and said it was a great roof and would outlast the rest of my place... out of politeness he didn't say it would outlast me. That's what he really meant! Thank you again..

Vinny and the guys were GREAT installing our new roof and gutters! Couldn’t be happier with the results. Great communication, more than fare pricing and done fast! Feels like I’ve got a new house, and ready for Hurricane Season! Thanks guys!!

Had a new flat roof installed recently. They sent a proposal that was signed and sent back to them. A week later, they sent another proposal for more money after we had a contract signed with them. Money grab. They made it into a hip roof to pitch the water off. Now I have standing water sitting on the seams of my new roof. They won't fix it or do anything about it. When they came out to look at it, the owner Vincent yelled and screamed like a child until I asked him to leave. Paid over $25000 for a roof that will probably leak in a few years since water is sitting on the membrane seams. A Plus? More like a giant F for failure.

Was on vacation in key west last Monday, my four year old son wasn't paying attention and walked into a brick wall face first causing a nose bleed. This company was working a job a few houses down and seen what happened, the workers dropped what they were doing to bring us a first aid kit out of their truck and a water bottle
