AGM Roofing

Absolutely terrible experience with this roofing company. The quality of work was awful from the start. Shingles/tiles are already falling off the roof, and they left nails and screws scattered all over my yard. When I complained, they actually told me they “don’t have a magnet” to clean them up properly. Completely unacceptable for a roofing company. Then, a month later, they sent random people to my house without any notice or permission beforehand. I had no idea who these men were or why they were on my property until they told me they were there to pick up screws left behind from the original job. They still did a poor job cleaning up, and to make matters worse, one of the men was going through my shed while another climbed onto my tractor and sat there eating lunch. After all of this, the owner tried to charge me an additional $10,000 for “cleanup costs” that I never agreed to in the first place. This company is unprofessional, careless, and disrespectful of customers’ property. I would strongly recommend staying far away from them.

Around 7 or 8 AM on the 29th of January I was awakened to the sound of beeping backhoes and a Ditch Witch I soon learned was in the process of demolishing the far corner of my property. No permission given. No warning. The heavy duty fence I had put a good amount of work into was being ripped down. For the next day I had to keep my dog leashed to avoid having her cross into the neighbor's yard where my fence of some thirty years had been just the day before. Finally on Day Three a team replaced my 4" posts and heavy duty Livestock wire with 3" ones and thin wire the gage of garden variety. Apparently my new neighbor wanted to clear ALL growth from that part of his half acre so hired not a tree service but one that that lists primarily as a ROOFING company. When I confronted the team supervisor about vandalizing someone's private property I was met with verbal abuse the likes I have never seen in my life! HE tried to make it all about ME. He further argued a roofing firm is capable of professional tree service. Really? Maybe that's why they left nothing standing except three Camphor trees, a Schedule One invasive listed by the Ag Extension Service and native only to CHINA. Unlike endemic FL Oaks their seeds are eaten by migratory birds and are spread far and wide as far as migration routes carry them. I need to report this vandalizing of my property but meanwhile this is a formal complaint on their unlawful activity perpetrated against me. Hire this roofing company at your own risk. I wasn't the one who hired them but was clearly an unwilling object of their trespassing and property destruction. Sorry if this post offends. Imagine if it had been you.

I had a very frustrating experience with AGM Roofing. Recently, they attempted to charge me for work they never completed — from over 7 years ago — and even tried to add late fees on top of that. This was both confusing and unacceptable. On top of that, the work they did complete (which I already paid for in full at the time) was done very poorly. The quality did not meet expectations, and I was left dealing with the consequences afterward. Overall, I would not recommend this company based on my experience. I strongly suggest others double-check any charges and be cautious before agreeing to work with them.

@Tower Hill Insurance and Paul Davis Restoration got in touch with this company to remove a huge Cedar tree that had fallen in the storm. They came in a very timely manner, they were very professional and are doing a great job. Plus they cleaned up when finished. Very impressed and will contact them for other thing we want done around and to the house.

Great experience from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and everything moved quickly…only about two weeks from estimate to final inspection. Highly recommend!
