An outstanding experience from start to finish at J. Alexander’s. From the moment we walked in, everything was exceptional. Our waitress, Katherine, was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel well taken care of throughout the entire meal. The menu offers a great variety of options, and the food exceeded expectations—rich flavors, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted. The atmosphere is warm, upscale, and inviting, which really elevates the dining experience. What stood out most was how well the staff works together. You can tell the team is organized, coordinated, and committed to providing excellent service. This level of collaboration truly shows. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and an overall top-tier dining experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed the steak. I ordered the New York steak, which was cooked to perfection at the temperature I requested, and it was also butterflied and bursting with flavor, the same for the filet mignon my wife ordered. It was perfectly paired with a bottle of The Prisoner red blend wine. Both the food and the service were outstanding. We had dinner on Saturday evening, and our reservation was honored promptly, even though the restaurant was quite busy. I understand that the wait time without a reservation was approximately 45 minutes, so I highly recommend making a reservation.

We recently visited to celebrate a graduation, and the entire experience was great. Everything we ate was incredibly tasty and full of flavor. What truly elevated our evening was the excellent service. Josh was professional, highly attentive, and made some fantastic menu suggestions that the whole table loved. Even though our large party had to be split across two different tables, both of our servers were amazing. They communicated seamlessly and worked beautifully together to ensure we were all taken care of.

This J. Alexander’s location has upheld its reputation for the 20+ years my family and I have been going. The food is always excellent and delicious. The spinach dip has always been a staple item for an appetizer and the Caesar salad is easily one of the best out there. The chicken piccata was perfect. For the most part, the menu has been the same for years, but the specials menu always has something great. Sydney was a friendly, funny and sweet waitress. She was amazing! Thank You J’s!

I visited J. Alexander’s this past Saturday with my husband. Although we didn’t have a reservation and waited about 40 minutes to be seated, the food and service made the wait totally worth it. We ordered the STEAK MAUI—a marinated ribeye with smashed potatoes—and the ROASTED CHICKEN, which is brined for 24 hours with crushed herbs and lemon rosemary jus, served with smashed potatoes, broccoli, and mac and cheese on the side. The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the special sauce added an amazing touch. The chicken was flavorful and tender. Our waiter, Nick, was attentive and prompt, and our food arrived in a timely manner. The atmosphere was cozy and dimly lit—perfect for a date night or a small social gathering. The manager Diamond also stopped by our table a few times to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, which was a wonderful touch of excellent customer service. Overall, I give J. Alexander’s a 5-star experience from Kyy! Highly recommend.
