I had the pleasure of working with Juan and his family on my first ground up investment build. I was given their information through a mutual friend and reached out not knowing what to expect. Having being in real estate investing for quite some time you hear the horror stories of builders that don't live up to their reputation or agreements. So I was a bit apprehensive at first. We set up a meeting at some of their homes to see the type of work that they do and had a long, friendly conversation as to the process and what to expect. Being my first Build i wanted to make sure that we would be selecting the right builders. From the beginning everyone was very helpful in guiding me into next steps and moving forward with the project. Juan was very gracious in connecting me with their architect who was able to assist us in drawing up plans for our Decario model. Through the process i quickly learned that building a house is not as easy as selecting a lot of land and putting a house on it. In the beginning we actually went through 3 different vacant lots until we found a lot which was feasible to our requirements and checked all the boxes for our Build to rent project. Not to bore anyone with all the details but from start to finish the communication and care to the project was there. Any issues that arose were communicated in a professional manner and our project was completed and delivered in the time frame that was assigned.
