Normally I don't do reviews like this, but I have enough confidence that South Star Roofing will do an excellent job, that I am making an exception. From my very first appointment with Dominic to completion, they explained the procedure and were on schedule every step of the way. They went out of their way to accommodate my schedule, even adding extra workers on the last day in order to get done ahead of time so my plans would not be disrupted. They did an excellent job installing the roof, protecting my property, and cleaning up each day. On top of everything (no pun intended) their price was excellent with no hidden costs.

The name should be South "5 Star" Roofing. I deal with many roofers as a property manager. This company was hands-on, responsive, efficient and gave us such a great price for new shingle roofs on 5 properties. They coordinated the permitting and HOA approvals, provided daily updates with pictures, dealt politely with the residents, kept a clean job site, reinstalled gutters and did a super fast & complete job. At South Star Roofing, you are dealing directly with the owner, unlike other well known roofers who have layers of salesmen to pay for. This means they have less overhead to pass along in their pricing. It also means you deal with someone who knows the process as opposed to a salesperson. Such a great experience.

Dominic came out the same day I called for an appointment. We noticed water marks on the ceiling in our family room and they were able to diagnose us with a valley leak. They came out with their crew the next day (Friday) to complete the valley repair and got us dryed in before the afternoon rain. The next day was a Saturday morning and they were here bright and early to finish laying the tiles. We are very happy with the work they completed and how quick they had it done for us. I would recommend them for any roofing needs and will be using them in the future as well.

I highly recommend this company. Every person I came in contact with was very professional, friendly, & informative. The workers that installed the roof were so nice. Everything was done quickly. They cleaned up so well! I had many neighbors that came up to me to compliment me on the roof & how amazed they were on how quick everything was done & how great it looked. I love my roof!
