I must say, with 20+ years in customer service, and three quarters of that in Real Estate, I never came across a company who actually talked you out in using them. I contacted this business because they replaced a roof across from where I lived. I attempted to call them to get a quote to re-roof one of my investment properties. Mind you, it took me two attempts across 4 days to get a call back. I received a call from a woman who requested the pertinent information pertaining to the subject property. She stated someone would give me a call. I received a call from someone named Luis about 15 minutes later. He asked about the size of the property and begin to explain he would not be willing to take the job because of the size of the property. I guess too small (1k sq ft). He then began to lament on and on, but then stated he would have to quote me $4400. This was acceptable to me, but then proceeded to talk me out of hiring him. I requested that he meet me at the property so I can show him other items pertaining to the roof and carport beams. He stated he does not need to meet me there. So I asked him about other items that may need to be addressed and if it is included in the quote. He stated no. So what was the purpose in calling me? Some people would never surpass a specific limit because they get in their own way. Even if they attempted to call me back, I am passing, because they gave me a window of what would happen if there was a disagreement in service.
