If looking to replace your old roof don’t hesitate to call Big Al’s roofing. I needed to replace an old 30 plus year barrel tile roof and got numerous quotes. Some took days even weeks to give me a quote and then never followed up. But from day one when Oscar from Big Al’s showed up i was impressed. He sat down and explained all the options and showed me samples of all the materials. He even provided help for solutions beyond the scope of their work. He gave me multiple quotes for different roofing types and i decided on the metal, which turned out beautiful. The attention to detail and quality of work is undeniably and i am someone that is critical of small details that would probably drive most people crazy, but not Big Al’s. Oscar keeps you informed thru the whole process and sends you pictures along the way and says if there is anything you see that you do not like to let him know and it will be addressed and fixed to your satisfaction. They are very transparent with the pricing which includes the permit fees and inspection fees. The estimate I receive was the final price paid with no surprises. Before I signed the contract I wanted to meet the owner “Big Al” which i did. I later learned he did not reside in Miami and lives a good two hours away. So, thank you Big Al,. That alone speaks volumes. I could go on and on about how satisfied i am. Just can’t thank Oscar, his crew snd Al for making this project as smooth and enjoyable as it was. I highly recommend them if you’re thinking of replacing your roof and to give Big Al’s a call. Again, Thank you Oscar for going above and beyond what was expected and satisfying all my expectations.

My review today is for the initial process of roof repair… the owner was always in prompt contact with me. He answered all of my questions professionally and sent out his guys quickly to do an estimate. He also sent out his guys to do the job right away after I approved the job. The roofer that came seemed knowledgeable, honest, and with experience. He did the job he was sent to do. They didn’t drag it out like another company who quoted me before Big Al’s to then tell me I had to wait 3 weeks for the job to be done. I can’t yet rate the quality of the job as that takes time to be seen. I will return and edit my review if I see the issue continues and wasn’t addressed properly. They offer 1 year warranty for the job.

The pricing was fair, the quote was thoroughly explained (no surprises), and the job was completed within a few days. I used a VA renovation loan, and anyone who has gone this route knows that the VA can be very particular and may require additional steps and paperwork. Alvaro and Eddie’s professionalism, quick responses, and attention to detail made the process easy to navigate. I never had to follow up or wonder what the next steps were because they stayed on top of everything and kept me in the loop. Their roofing team was also professional and very hardworking. They started the work exactly at the scheduled time, and once they were finished, they made sure all debris was cleaned up from my yard. Big Al's Roofing just replaced our 7,400+ sq. ft. roof with Barcelona 900 concrete tiles and did an amazing job. Big Al himself kept us well informed every step of the way and everything was handled quickly and efficiently. Everyone on their team were professional, pleasant, and super-responsive. Disruption was minimal and when the job was completed, they left everything around the house as clean as before. Big Al's Roofing have installed several other roofs in our small neighborhood.
