Long time renter moved out leaving crayon marks and other. Owner agreed to repaint after I moved out instead of prior to me moving in so I could move in sooner and that would mean he only had to paint once. I stayed for several months making no additional marks to the walls. However, apon moving out he kept the majority of my remaining insurance money paid to him. Reasoning: He had to repaint! And tho i cleaned extensively I was told that I forgot the ceiling fan and returned 1 key forgetting there was another. He then wrote a check for my measly balance he calculated was owed me after keeping somewhere around One Thousand Dollars of my money. I tried to speak to him but was made to feel like a pest and that I needed to leave or else. I mean, the condescending look and sneer! And With my mother in Peoria Hospital gravely ill I did not get to the bank for sometime with the small portion in checkform and after she passed and I did so only to find that the check had worn and couldn’t be processed. I then called and texted over & over again with no answer or reply to my numerous messages for MONTHS. Finally the bank contacted him to which they were informed that he was not writing me a new one. No explanation, nothing. Just kept that money too. That was all of it including utilities that were not used. I could go on but suffice to say that this is a greedy bully. I had had a house fire and my dog died as a result. My mother in the hospital dying, needing my constant attention and I forgot to clean the top of a ceiling fan where i stayed for mere months??!! Pure greed and lack of conscience in my opinion. Rent at your own risk. Smh

Drives a van with bawled tires almost crashed into my house, got stuck, expected me to pay for a tow cause he was drunk and broke. He ran things over trying to back in my garage. Accident waiting to happen! I’d make him prove the insurance as well. He isn’t smart enough not to drive down a steep hill with bawled tires I’m sure your floors will look nice! 👎
