I asked for an estimate to see how much it would cost to replace & tighten the lose screws & they came out & looked at it & later they called & said they would send someone out. When I asked for the cost the gentleman replied & said they would do it for free. I was taken so off guard. They are wonderful!!!

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I post this review. I didn't want it to come to this but their lack of communication and work ethic in getting this project completed has left me no choice. I wanted so much for this project to go smoothly and to be able to refer other work to a some-what local company after this Hurricane but unfortunately this project has been an absolute nightmare. On November 16, 2018, I contracted with C & C Roofing to complete my roof, build a small utility room and to demo my garage and wooden deck. Today's date is February 25, 2019, and they are STILL not done. On December 7, 2018, they were first on site and they have NEVER worked a full day. They have worked 45 minutes here, a couple of hours there, but NEVER a full day. James Mangum has given excuse after excuse for the delay but there is absolutely no excuse for taking 3 months PLUS for a project that should've taken weeks, at the most. To start, Enzo and his framing crew gabled the wrong section of our house and didn't gable the laundry room, which was specified on contract and scope of work. This was caught by my husband and I and when we brought it to Enzo's attention, his exact words was "I don't know anything about that ". This situation was finally remedied but by putting the gable on the wrong end to start with, it opened up more issues. The roof looks like a highway map, there are leftover pieces of the old roof everywhere, it's just a messy look. My roof permit was pulled only after I brought it to their attention, a full 3 months AFTER I signed the permit application and the NOC. The permit wasn't pulled until, February 15, 2019, after the roof was supposedly complete and I still haven't had an inspection. The only positive that I can say is that thank God we did not give them our whole project or our whole Assignment of Benefits, like they wanted us to do. Their performance on our roof and garage demo was their "try-out" and they failed miserably. I encourage potential customers and/or victims of James Mangum and C & C Roofing to check with other roofing contractors before signing with C & C. They say pictures are worth a thousand words so please take a look. Please note that the water intrusion pictures are AFTER the house was "dried in". Doesn't look too dry. The utility room construction pictures are from December 12, 2018, when it was originally framed and the one beside it was taken February 14, 2019. That is the amount of progress made in over 2 months. Ridiculous. Buyer beware!!

Couldnt ask for a better company to do your work! After hurricane Michael, we had a heck of a time getting a contractor to come way out here or even answer the phone. C&C was 1 of 2 companies we managed to get estimates from. Our estimator Craig has been great, always keeping us up to date on whats happening, and we did the same from our end too. When it was time to do the roof, Romero and his crew that came out were professional, friendly and personable. A separate crew came out to do the gutters and they were absolutely great too! Would hire this company again in a heart beat!

Had our Roof replaced. The company is professional, respectful, very through, and good quality work. Always answered questions that we asked. Would recommend C&C Construction to anyone. They are down to earth people. Also, one other comment they worked very hard taking off old roof and putting new roof. Thanks Billy and Smurf. You all were great and so respectful, polite and professional!!!!!!

I have changed my rating to a 5 star for C&C Construction. After meeting with the owners and seeing that James Mangum was the issue of all their problems C&C removed him from their company and completed our home. There was someone there every day until it was completed and the work quality is amazing. We are back in our home and are so pleased with the final outcome. Thank you C&C for taking the steps needed to showed you cared about the people in your community that had lost so muc . Me and my family lost everything due to Hurricane Michael and like a lot of other we were looking for someone to get us back in our home. James Mangum came to us representing C&C Construction and made us promises after promises of what we could get done so we could get our lives back to normal. We have a signed contract stating our home would be complete May 25, 2019. As of today we are still living in a camper. There has been times we have went over a month with no work on our home. We were promised that our roof would of been completed before Christmas because it was a downpour in the house every time it rained. The roof was finally completed at the end of February. James put a crew on our roof with a man named Enzo as the lead guy. After they did everything wrong on my roof I was told they are framers, not roofers. How does a roofing company not have roofers doing roofs? Finally after getting the roof complete we thought things were going to change for the better. A crew led by Jose came in and did an awesome job on our home. They did all the framing and were there everyday working. Once they finished the nightmare started again. Weeks with no one working. James steady making excuses of why the workers were not on my home working. This has been very stressful for our family. This was supposed to be a local company that cared about its community but turned out to just be lies. This company saw dollar signs and just took on all the work they could get even though they new there was no possible way to do everything. Right now my family and I are with a house that is about 80% complete and just heard that James is pulling the guys working on our home to travel to North Carolina. Guess they have to go to new money and just leave my home incomplete. It is very frustrating to know all your money is tied up with a company that has not completed your home and can just walk away leaving a family stuck with a house no finished and no money to bring someone new in. With all of this being said just want to say thank you to C&C Construction for showing how much they really care about the community they call home. To C&C Construction you are letting James ruin the reputation you have taken years to build.
