After speaking with Capital Marine about on the telephone on Tuesday 10/2/18 about servicing my boat lift they proceeded to scheduled me for an appointment with "Billy" the following Saturday 10/6/18 between 10am-12pm. The appointment was for an inspection and repair quote. They took my name, number, email address and physical address and instructed me to be home during the window given. I proceeded to follow there instructions and missed my daughter's volleyball tournament to attend the consultation. Capital Marine DID NOT SHOW UP...at all. They also did not call or email to cancel or reschedule. I proceeded to call them multiple times with no answer and still have not received any contact days later. I understand that Marine Construction companies are very busy the past couple of years, but you still need to communicate with your potential customers. Especially when you the business makes the appointment. UPDATE 12/12/2018: After seeing my original negative review Capital Marine reached out and asked to rectify the issue. We conversed about it and I decided to give them a second chance. Bill meet me within the hour appointment window we agreed upon. He was able to provide the information I was looking for and I agreed to his quote for repairing my Lift Cradle. Everything was eventually completed and the lift is working just fine. Communication was still a little cumbersome and is the reason I only brought the review up to 3 stars. The work was fine and the price was acceptable. I would consider using Capital Marine again.

They did a great job on my dock at a fair price, showed up pretty close to the timeframe stated, and kept me updated. Excellent experience and nice job.

Still winning awards for best marine construction company

Communication was terrible. Never knew when they were going to show up to work on my lift. Never was given a price so had no idea what the job was costing me until I got the final bill.
