Compass Restoration is a company that should be avoided. As a condo association president, I made the mistake of hiring this storm repair company instead of letting our property management firm handle it. In doing so, our entire community paid the price. CGR is not a professional, properly licensed and insured contractor. What I learned after it was too late is that this “company” is essentially a one man operation along with a bunch of subcontracted, out-of-work laborers who are scrapped up to take advantage of storm devastated areas. If your property has been damaged by severe weather, do not be sucked in by someone knocking on your door claiming to be restoration experts. If you don’t have a property management company, do your research and engage the services of an established, reputable business.
Josh is a persistent appraiser who worked for us the homeowner. Josh never stopped working hard for us. With great patience and a great teammate, we prevailed in the end.
