Craftsmanship & integrity in one package. Had these folks perform a turn-key replacement of my wind & hail damaged asphalt roof at my Villages, FL home. The communication and follow thru was excellent from the initial call to the completion of the project. Everyone who observed the job in progress, including a retired building contractor friend was impressed with their work. There was a solid trust relationship between all the parties, and the job started on-time and ended on-time with a beautiful looking end product. All this yet very economically priced using the best quality materials and no attempts replace unnecessary items to jack the final price. I'll end by saying I am a part-time builder and I don't impress easily.

We replaced our shingle roof with a metal roof and our experience was excellent. Blake was patient with all my questions, he made the process easy. His crew was professional, they worked hard and efficiently. We love the look and how the metal elevates the look of our small office. Great job to Blake and his crew! Highly recommend.

We just had a roof replaced and our experience with management and the roofing team was very professional and customer oriented. Blake was very helpful and knowledgeable with all roofing issues and in developing a project proposal/contract. The roofing team was also very professional and organized in getting the job done in a high quality manner. As our roof approached the end of its lifetime, we decided to have it replaced. Of all the companies that we contacted, Blake was the only one calling us back right away. He came on the same day, 12/26, at 10 am. We were impressed, as it was the day after Christmas. Blake was very knowledgeable, and was able to answer all of our questions. He gave us a fair estimate on the spot. We signed the contract on 2/6. As "Weathered Wood," our choice of shingles, was available, work started just 11 days later, on 2/17. The crews arrived promptly. Everything around the house was carefully covered. Take-down of the old roof was completed on the same day. The next morning, shingles were lifted by crane to the roof to be nailed down. They were all in place by the end of the morning, and all clean-up was done by early afternoon. All nails and debris were carefully picked up. After the job was completed, we contacted Blake a few times regarding the paperwork. Every single time, Blake got back to us within minutes. Overall, we were very happy with the professional work performed by Custom Roofing & Coatings crews. We were especially very pleased with the attention that Blake afforded us. It gives us peace of mind knowing that the roof has a lifetime warranty including labor, and that Blake and the company will quickly respond to any problems we may have in the future.

This company was contracted by Aldana Contracting LLC (Possibly the worst builder in FL) for their homes being built all over Marion County. Custom Roofing did my home (2 years old now), and it has leaking issues. Aldana dispatched them out to take a look, and as I expected, because they did the work are denying any accountability. This company did not attempt to contact me for a time or date; they just showed up in the middle of a weekday while I was at work & I only knew they came out due to my security cameras. I wanted to be home to explain the situation to them, so I called Customer Roofing, and they assured me someone would call me back to arrange. Has been two days and no call to set up another appointment has happened. The Custom Roofing person was on my roof for no more than 3 minutes and stated it wasn't their issue or covered under warranty in his report to the builder Aldana Contracting. I will be hiring my own roofer to see about that... Update - To your response: The Aluminum patio has nothing to do with where the leak is originated from. This is due to poor installation under the shingles and the flashing lip to short from your installation. The fact you spent 3mins to determine not your issue without properly inspecting and coming to my house, jumping on my roof unannounced while I wasn’t home. Yeah I agree 1 star isn’t fair, it should be a zero. I don’t like giving bad reviews and certainly don’t like my time wasted. I would gladly change this review if you would simply do a real evaluation to determine the issue as the leak is above the patio and I would have explained and shown you this if you just called me to setup an appointment. You have my info. It’s in your hands now.
