Hardee County in General is a breeze to work with/in, but I want to say Ms. Felise has amazing customer service! As a developer, having someone not only answer questions, but double check permit information in real time is becoming increasingly rare with Building Departments across the State. Felise was not only kind and courteous, she was helpful and gave me all the details needed to get my CO. Absolutely 5 start customer service and a genuinely happy and good human! Ms. Felise, thank you greatly, you're appreciated!

Corrupt and wont even follow the laws. I've called code enforcement several times on my neighbor who sleeps in a shed (illegal) and has a tent he made (illegal) in the back yard, all viewable from off the property. The supervisor at code enforcement said they aren't breaking laws. But was dumb enough to admit it was Bill Staton's property. Admitting it's the rich guy who runs the county who owns it, which is why they arent doing anything about it. They only go after the poor people in this country ty, the rich literally get a phone call and told to stop and never even get a citation and this is all on a recorded line due to the supervisor practically admitting it over the phone.

The worst ever ever experience I have in any county was in Hardee county, (HARDY) this is the real name they has to supposed to have because they are a nightmare, they require serial and model number from the A/C UNITS, type of unit if is Heat pump or straight cool, how many tons and they can’t provide me the ETA or phone number from the inspector, we required the ETA because the owner could be not on the house and I can be there to provide access, she Threat to you with 0 professionalism, you trying to ask something and the answer is arrogant and miserable, like if she doesn’t care anything what you asking, sometimes when I found the lime I make a really juicy lemonade, have a great day all of you guys and thanks for reading my fear review.
