Honest Dollar Roofing

We are so very thankful for this business and their work from the beginning through completion. Of 5 roofers we called for an estimate, Honest Dollar is the only one that identified the existing problems with our 24-year-old metal roof. Other roofers said only that "some screws were missing". In reality, there were more issues which Honest Dollar supported their statement in photos. They did not try to upsell us, only to advise us on all the roofing options and the "better" options for our needs considering we are on a saltwater canal and want no up-keep since we are both older. We opted for a shingle roof and even liked the recommendation on the shingle color. Honest Dollar recommended we shingle over the flat roof for aesthetics since it is in the front of the house. A wise recommendation. Two workers did the complete roof process from removal to installation and clean-up over the course of several days due to the sweltering heat advisories. During that time, we were astounded that everything moved along so quickly since it was miserably hot. We can't say enough about the work, the communication, the clean-up, and the facelift given to our home. I personally saw the crew run a magnet around the property multiple times throughout the project. We are confident each phase was done with care. Since we were flooded by Hurricane Helene, we had to meet county paperwork requirements to get a permit. Our flood restoration contractor sold their business before work was complete, so they had no records available, and they were no help on data needed for paperwork. I don't think any of the other roofers would have been as responsive and helpful as Honest Dollar in figuring out what was needed. It is a relief to know we have a new roof.

Bill did our roof and my father in law, who said that was an excellent job!! I agree. These people are exactly who they say they are, honest and reasonable. You can often tell who is in the field long term..using same name many years..must be doing something right. Thanks Bill and team!
