JAT Roofing

I'll give 2 stars for the shingle appearance and warranty, but I'm not satisfied with the workmanship. It took them 3 days and they still had to come back to finish cleaning up what could be cleaned. The estimate was quick and they started sooner than expected. I'm glad I went to ABC Supply to see the shingle in person. It was darker than online. I don't feel there will be structural issues, but the finishing work was sloppy/lazy. The lead recommended he use cap shingles to replace the tarred field shingles which I found ridiculous since they don't have the same coloring. I found them through Angi and paid them through the app after the permit was clear. There was a screen on the dryer vent per permitting which was resolved quickly. There were issues sending them pics. The crew came out to clear the remaining nails in the gutters. I found out a month later they never set up to receive payment through Angi. They aren't tech savvy. They will charge you 4% for credit cards. I hand delivered a check so I could make sure I got the warranty paperwork.

Our roof took 4 days to complete. The workmanship was excellent. Since we live in Florida, we get storms almost daily this time of year. JAT roofers know how to install a roof in these conditions, ensuring everything is coverable on a moment's notice and when they leave for the day, everything is water tight ... each day. We had rain on 2 of the 4 installation days, yet no leaks. The roofers themselves were professional, very careful, and extremely hard working (three 12+ hour days) JAT admin office personnel are also top notch. We live in a "fastidious" (picky) HOA community. JAT was wonderful to work with through the initial roof project documentation process. JAT was VERY patient. We had excellent updates on schedules and what we needed to do. All permit and inspections were handled by JAT and done within 24-48 hours of work completion. We definitely recommend JAT Roofers.

Hired JAT to replace my roof which they did and it passed inspection. Company went above and beyond to answer an after hours question and bump up my install date and squueze my job in because of major leaks. Company as a whole has poor communication between office, crew, project manager, and customer. Roofers were sloppy with clean up left nails and debris on the side of the house. Work requiring additional costs beyond estimate were not discussed prior to receiving an invoice for $400+ over estimate. Quality of new roof is good and appears to be good workmanship.

JAT roofing was awesome to help our family following the last hurricane in Florida. I thought everything was OK with our roof but noticed light shining into my attic from a ridge vent. It didn’t seem like it had always appeared, so we called JAT to stop by and check it out. The technicians that came were both outstanding and so professional. Unbeknownst to us we had lost several in caps during the high winds of the storm. JAT roofing replaced what was missing and checked out all the rest of the roof making us feel so much more comfortable. Their service is above any roofing company we have ever worked with in the past. It’s awesome because they are local company and their pricing is more than fair. Please give them a try.
