Called John after reading reviews on Angie's list (now Angi). He was scheduled out for some time but we kept in touch and he eventually came out to do our repair (non-emergency). The "soft spot" he started to repair actually turned out to affect both an upper and lower Fascia as well. The previous roofer who put a new roof on 2007 was S***Z (local company)who did such a poor job flashing the valley it leaked. (we've actually had a few repairs on this roof because they are incompetent). John however, IS competent (fully licensed). Fixed the issue(s) and went above and beyond to make sure the remainder of the roof was in good condition. Patched some nail holes we had form having the roof dried in at one point and replaced a bad shingle he saw as well. You may wait for him but the wait is worth it!
