Latite Roofing and Sheet Metal

I was driving on I95 and their driver cut me off. He then slowed to a slugs pace so I swerved to the right to see what was happening and he swerved to the right to stop me from being able to see. When I went to go around him, he sped up to block me in and matched my speed. I would never do business with anyone that drives like this is a company vehicle. It’s a negative representation of the company and shows the lack of care and concern for others on the road. Imagine the stubbornness on the job. Imagine trying to ask for something specific with a guy that’s really not going to have the care and concern to listen. Sad.

I had my 1.6 million dollar home reroofed by Latite Roofing and Sheet Metal. I want everyone to be aware of the quality of the work and craftsmanship that they have brought to my home. I contracted with Latite on September 24, 2021. Latite tore off my old roof in mid March and they got their final inspection the end of June. That is 3 1/2 months with my roof torn apart. I complained non-stop to Latite Roofing and Sheet Metal about the workmanship of the reroof for months. Latite Roofing and Sheet Metal has completely ignored ALL of my complaints. Latite has now completed their final reroof permit inspections with the City of Coral Springs, the permit is now closed. These are the photos of my completed roof from Latite Roofing and Sheet Metal, this is what I have received for my $87,000.00. When I shopped for a roofing company to reroof my home, I found Latite Roofing and Sheet Metal. I only saw the beautiful and perfect roof photos that Latite prominently displayed on their websites and social media. Re-enforcing these beautiful photos are Latite slogans that read "SETTING THE STANDARD IN ROOFING, While Building Lasting Relationships" or "committed to excellence in roofing and complete customer satisfaction" I never saw a single photo from Latite Roofing and Sheet Metal with the quality of workmanship that has been done on my home. If I had seen photos of roofs with the workmanship that is on my home, I would never have hired or even considered Latite Roofing and Sheet Metal to reroof my home. I trusted Latite Roofing because they have been in business for over 75 years. I trusted them because they claimed to be committed to excellence in roofing and complete customer service. I spent a lot of time searching for the right company to do my roofing needs. You see, my entire roof needed to be replaced, it was heavily damaged by Irma back in 2017. From start to finish each of the individuals working on my roof were experienced professionals, and truly the very best at what they did. All you really need to know is that if they say it can be done, It Will Be Done Right! I am happy to share with you my new roof!!

Terrible customer service! They don’t stand behind their warranty! Hired Latite in 2020 for a re-roof of my home. In 2025 after a heavy rain, I had a leak inside with a ceiling stain with water that also dripped down the wall and did drywall damage. I contacted Latite and they sent out a repair person to repair the leak. The repair person discovered the leak was at the wall flashing, and he told me that when the roof was installed that they did not seal that area correctly, he said that there was a very thin coat of glue that over the last few years because of rain and sunlight, etc, had worn away the thin coat of glue on the wall flashing. He said it was a workmanship error. My cost for ceiling and drywall repairs was $2500. I sent photos of the damage, and my drywall repair invoice and spoke to the service manager, Stephen Marks, at Latite. He refused to cover my indoor repairs because of the leak. He said Latite warranty only covers roof repairs. I explained to him that because of poor workmanship that caused the leak resulting in interior damage that I felt that they should cover my drywall repairs. He refused. I felt like he should’ve made an exception after speaking to his repair person that could have told him about the workmanship error from when the roof was installed.

I’m so thankful that my coworker referred me to Latite Roofing. Fantastic customer service and responsiveness throughout the entire process. The team that came out walked me through the area that needed the repair, why the water was moving the way it was and what needed to be done. I was worried that I would need expensive work and that during hurricane season I would have to wait to get it started, but it was the exact opposite. The price, the honesty, the turnaround time and the quality were exactly like my coworker said it would be and now I’ll refer Latite to everyone I know. Thank you for getting my home back to normal so quickly and not taking advantage during the rainy season.
