Such a lovely group of people working together to make difficult situations bearable. Everyone is upbeat & positive while retaining professionalism. These folks are so compassionate & caring from the time you exit your vehicle through your exit from the hospital, you leave feeling valued with a renewed sense of all that is good in humanity and hope for a positive future.

I will never ever forget what St. John's did for my grandson, you saved his life! As I looked for parking, valet parking staff took my car which such kindness, assurance and professionalism. It appeared my grandson was their first priority as was mine. I was then escorted to the ER by someone in a golf cart. He placed my bags and stroller in the cart and drove me to the ER. Once we arrived in the ER, he, once again, took all of my bags and stroller, told me to go ahead inside, that he would bring in the items, and he did. Security and front line clerk were kind, fast, expediting as they could see the urgency. From the time he arrived at the Emergency where they were physically waiting for him to arrive, to admission to the PICU, to Inpatient PEDS and discharge, you were and are the best! I pray and hope we never have to visit a different hospital other than the Tampa, St. John's Hospital! Jen, Sam, June, Grace T, Elena T and Amanda PCT and the doctors in the Emergency Room, PICU and PEDS are by far the very best Medical Team I've ever experienced! Thank you all for what you did for my grandson, for saving his life! Thank you for actually caring so much, for your professionalism, for keeping me informed at all times, for talking to my grandson as if he understood what you were saying, for treating him with such dignity, love and respect. I am forever greatful to you all and I pray and hope the community, the patients, the families and the Executive/Leadership Administration trully celebrate and appreciate you for all you do! Sometimes, as humans, while many times unintentionally, we tend to look at everything that goes wrong only, instead of how blessed we are with what or who we have right next to us! My mother had a horrible time at this hospital. They gave her food that she can't eat it was disgusting. Then she brought her phone, purse , and clothes with her. They were stolen. Unfortunately everyone who talked to about it acted like she didn't know what she was talking about. No one did anything to help. No offering compensation. Just sent her back to the rehab center for her temporary care in a hospital gown. They did not even try to find her anything else to wear . Do not go to this hospital.

Dear Patient Relations Team, I am writing to share feedback regarding my visit to the emergency department yesterday following a work-related injury to my left foot. I would like to commend the registration staff and the X-ray technician for their professionalism and care. The registration process was seamless, and the staff was very polite. Similarly, the X-ray technician was dedicated and showed great empathy toward my situation. The physician who evaluated my foot was also professional and provided clear instructions for my recovery. However, I am very disappointed with the conduct of the ER staff member who assisted me at the end of my visit. When I asked for clarification regarding my prescription dosage and frequency, I did not receive an accurate answer. Additionally, the medical note provided contained an error in my last name. When I requested a correction, the staff member's attitude was unacceptable. Furthermore, despite my explained inability to walk due to severe pain, he initially expected me to leave the hospital on foot. I had to insist on the assistance of a wheelchair to reach the exit, which he eventually provided only after some hesitation. I believe this lack of professionalism and disregard for patient mobility needs to be addressed. I hope this feedback helps improve the quality of care for future patients.

Christine A. Such a heaven sent nerves out of the ER department handled my husband with extreme grace wearing his extremely painful sickle cell crisis. She was prompt and very concerning. We got there at the hospital around 11:00 a.m. and got back pretty quickly. She was very sufficient and really made my husband's visit and admission easier to process. Everyone cannot deal with patience all day long but this nurse proves to be an exceptional worker. She was diligent and efficient. We appreciate her kindness and patience and wish her the best on her journey to continue caring for God's children. St Joseph's is privileged to have her Nurse Charles on the 7th floor was also very efficient with my husband's medication and Care throughout the night as I stayed over just to make sure that he was being cared for. He was prompt with his timing and no one had to tell him when to come into the room even throughout the night to administer or at least check on my husband's first night in admissions. I am totally pleased with the service this far as this is our second time at this hospital and this time is the most exceptional one thus far. Also Nurse Bre and Deborah from the 7th floor were awesome..they were prompt and efficient with my husband's care. Awesome team.. oh but the plumbing sucks sorry
