I’ve never changed a review before, but this experience is so awful I needed to. Only choose them if you want them to take over a month and a half… and still not finished. They work for a few hours one day and then don’t come back for a week. In addition to a lack of productivity, they also flooded 3 out of our 8 units. One of the owners had to deal with her whole closet being completely soaked and they had to completely remove all the insulation due to potential mold. They have sat and also taken naps in the private backyards, and also leave work vehicles for days on a time taking owners spots without any consideration that a month and a half (and counting) is a major inconvenience to the owners. And in response to your comment below, I am one of the 8 owners.
I have used Lyons roofing for over 25 years in Weston. I am surprised not to see more reviews for this roofer. They have been around for many years and have done a lot of work in Weston. They replaced my roof in 2022 and my daughter's roof in 2024. Prior to that, I used them to treat my roof every two years, which really prolonged the life of my original roof. I have continued this with my new roof which looks great and I have had zero problems with it since it was installed. Every two years they come out, treat the roof, clean it with an organic cleaner that does not harm my plants, and check the roof for any potential problems. I have been very happy with them over the years and would not hesitate to recommend them. The team in the office are always nice when I call as is the team that comes out to the home.
2016 roof, lasted less than 10 years before a leak. I understand things happen with "modern" labor, but they failed by not honoring their warranty. Charged $1500 for the repair that I can only assume was done just as shoddily. The impression is that they think they're doing you a favor taking tens of thousands of your dollars to put a poorly built turd on top of your investment. Will definitely be rolling the dice with a different installer when the next leak happens.
