Paletz Roofing and Inspections

We did an extensive research and quoted with many different companies, and we decided to go with Paletz because of their reputation and good reviews, perhaps we were unlucky , but our experience with them was not entirely good. We should have flagged the first contact with them asking for an estimate, they didn't even showed up, just sent a quote electronically based on satellite photos, which is ok, but when dealing such a large contract you want some human contact. We called them and a representative came to the house a few days later. We discussed the estimate and decided to sign with them, that was the second week of February 2026. After we signed the contract and made first payment there was radio silence and we didn't heard back from them, so I initiated contact by sending emails asking for an status update on March 10 (almost a month later), there was a lack of communication and we were really stressed out about that issue. After repeatably emailing the office I got an update about permits and a date for the initial demolition, which was completed by March 19, after that, radio silence again, after a few phone calls and emails, I got another update that the Metal will be delivered by APR 17(two months from initial contract), during that period, lot's of things happened, They broke some wall trimming at the front of the house during demolition, which took them 2 different attempts and few weeks to finally fixed right, the delivery of the metal and initial inspection failed due to the metal not having the proper labels and some were cut to the wrong size, which delayed the installation another few days. My roof was naked, only with the underlayment (peel and stick) for more than a month, which was extremely stressful. After all those issues were addressed and numerous calls and emails, They started the metal install about APR 23, I was monitoring the entire demolition and install using a drone (see attached photos) I was able to identify several aesthetic issues in different places which I raised concerns to the installers and the main office, they totally ignored my concerns, never got a reply and was practically forced to accept the final product. The roof was finally finished on APR 28 (almost 3 months after signing the contract) missing the timeframe offered at the sales pitch by a mile... We felt like we had to push the company on every step of the way to get this project done, it was completed with some cosmetics details, and on top of that, after completion, they left an oversized dumpster trailer blocking half of my drive way for 2 days. Sadly we cannot recommend this company, we faced too many issues, it was stressful from the beginning to the end, and not entirely happy with the end result.

Paltez did an anxiety job on my roof. From start to finish, they were professional and provided great service. Johnathan was great to work with. He worked with me and answered all my questions. He gave me a great deal and the end result was worth it. The administrative staff was also very responsive and kept me up to date on every portion of the installation. The supervisors of the work crew were also great at showing me their work and advising me of any updates or issues. Hands down great service and great company.

Paletz roofing is a professional roofing company led by qualified experts. We had them install a new barrel tile roof on our home and we could not be happier with the process and end result. They have flexible financing options, which was important to us since a new roof is a large expense. We were impressed with their platinum roofing package, and that is ultimately what we chose…it is nice to know there is so much quality built into the process and that we won’t have to worry about our roof for many years. We worked with a number of great people during our reroof process, every one of them knew what they were doing. The process was turnkey in that Paletz helped us navigate needed stucco repairs and a very tricky brick chimney repair. Thankful for a beautiful new roof and great overall experience!
