5 stars so far ...and I fully expect that to continue. My experience with the Palm Beach County Plan Review team has been exceptional. Everyone has been professional, courteous, and genuinely helpful, and well-organized. I came prepared with full architectural and MEP plans, and the collaboration has been seamless. Looking forward to continuing into inspections. A special thank you to Emna, Yvone, and Butch for their responsiveness, efficiency, and for keeping everything on a great timeline.

Worst building department. Plan reviews take forever for a simple window and door project. They offer zero customer service. Don't answer phones. Make it impossible to speak with anyone. One single door permit takes over 30 days to receive an approved permit. Makes no sense when every other municipality can expedite these permits. The entire department needs an overhaul.

This county not only huggers deputies who 1-ticket people for made up offenses, 2-make up facts about the individuals, 3-won’t admit if they’re wrong, 4-author tickets to people with no right hand for holding a phone in that right hand. Pretty embarrassing that they hire prideful people to enforce laws. Yikes. And I thought Manitowoc wi looked bad…woof

Depends on who you get on the phone, but many comments on here already said it: they like to hang up on people. If you look at the picture the only time they answered was the two minute conversation and the one minute conversation at 3:21PM (And I still did not get my question answered)

Nobody picks up calls here. It's very difficult to work with them. Maybe they are severely understaffed. I could not wait for anyone to call back to answer my question. I could not navigate the process on the online portal and I make a mistake. I wasted almost $100. Very painful experience.
