This is a very delayed review of a builder who fulfilled the dream of a new custom home that I designed for myself and my beautiful partner back in 2003. We were Brits who after visiting Florida decided to set up our own hideaway to escape the English winter for six months each winter. We were introduced to Rick Rojas, newly in his own business and impressed from the start of our journey. From initial meeting to discuss, his enthusiastic appraisal of the design, the working up of a price with a full analysis of every aspect of a prospective construction. The assistance and knowledge to weave through the complex planning process was off the scale! We set up a US bank account and negotiated a construction loan. Throughout the build and being in the UK, we were kept fully informed by Rick of the progress. When close to finish, I went over and was fully engaged with the final finishing processes. I cannot find sufficient words to praise enough the care, help and quality that was delivered by a builder par excellence, who deserves your confidence in getting a job well done,

We choose RJ Builders to build our "forever, dream home" in 2019. We met with Rick several times before "signing" the papers. We visited a few of their houses that were under various stages of construction. We loved what we saw and made that easy choice! During the planning stage, we had some ideas for what we wanted and some of those things were not traditional. (different ceiling, different roof line, etc.) When we explained these ideas to Rick he would offer his professional opinion on if it would work or not and then he would say, "I will make it work because this is your dream home". Throughout the entire build, Rick stayed in constant contact with us and was available for our calls without hesitation. RJ Builders provided us with some great companies that we used to help with the build. (tile company, door company, cabinet company, etc.) Our build took approximately 1 year from start to finish. That may seem a long time but the Covid pandemic happened during our build, which slowed things down a bit due to supply shortages. Rick would update us frequently. During the build, we would also schedule walk-thrus with him to go over everything that was being done and would also discuss what was coming up next. We have been in our home for over 4 years now. We would highly recommend RJ Builders to anyone wishing to have a home built. We are so thankful to RJ Builders for our "forever, dream home"!

Five years ago we purchased our 6.25 acre lot on lake Harris in Tavares. Our first task was to find a builder. We interviewed several and found ourselves still searching. After discovering RJ Builders on line, we contacted them and met the owner Rick Rojas. He was on a mission to make sure we had all our question answered. He impressed us and introduced us to a designer to work with on our plans. On our next trip to Tavares we signed with RJ Builders and the building phase began. Over the next 20 months Rick was always prompt and professional in keeping us informed, securing material and meeting deadlines. This was no easy task since we were in the middle of the covid pandemic. We have been in our new house overlooking Lake Harris with a two stall horse barn and boat dock since August 2020 and couldn't be happier.
