I would highly recommend Design Build Systems! From the beginning they were professional, easy to reach, and proactive in their approach. We ran into issues with the City of Destin in terms of permitting and obtaining the DO - ultimately John went to the City Council Meeting to first-hand correct the issue on a large scale. We just broke ground a week after Hurricane Michael! Can't say enough positive things about John, Mark and their team!

Design Build Systems has been providing its services for over 35 years and this is the first negative review to be posted. There’s more to the story than Mr. Henley discusses. Mr. Henley interfered on numerous occasions with Design Build Systems project. What Mr. Henley also fails to explain is he is a tenant that now occupies space in a shopping center which Design Build Systems constructed. Design Build Systems was not involved in the negotiating and terms agreed to regarding Mr. Henley’s lease and no contractual relationship existed between Mr. Henley and Design Build Systems. The delay Mr. Henley is upset about was due to adverse weather rain events that occurred in north Okaloosa County during May and June of 2017. A reasonable person normally would understand it is difficult to proceed and complete outside work, such as paving a shopping center parking lot, when it is raining and you also can’t pave until the pavement base material has an acceptable moisture content. If you do not remember or are not aware of the record amount of rain days and rainfall recorded during May and June of 2017, please do some research before relying on Mr. Henley’s biased review.

Cannot refer them highly enough. John, Mark and the entire staff were wonderful to work with. On time and on budget. Great product, we have used them twice for new construction and could not be happier.

I called for a reference for someone who worked for them and the man I spoke to - who claimed to be an owner was rude, short tempered and essentially hung up on me!!! If I could give less than one star I MOST CERTAINLY WOULD.

I don't recommend this company for anything. They are unprofessional and rude and have delayed our store opening. They yelled at me, my contractor and mother for simply checking on the status of our project.
