I’ve had a really good experience at Sabal Palm at Carrollwood. The location is super convenient, and the community feels quiet and well-maintained. The landscaping and green areas make it feel very comfortable, and the pool area is a nice spot to relax. The staff has always been helpful and easy to communicate with, which makes everything smoother. Parking is usually easy to find, and overall the community has a nice, peaceful vibe. Overall, it’s been a great place to live and I would definitely recommend it.

Management was very welcoming. The team answered all my questions. Touring the complex the apartments were good sized and especially liked the dog park for my furry friend. Felt safe in the area apts are located. Oh and plenty of parking.

my experience living at sabal palms has recently gone from being great to being absolutely disappointing and disgusting. my bedroom window has been covered in mold for about two weeks now and management refuses to do anything about it aside from painting over it. They painted over it with regular white spray paint, and initially telling it was just condensation, even though it is clearly mold. management appears to have no consideration about this issue, even though I have been sick with mold exposure symptoms. its crazy to me how they refuse to do anything other than telling me to pay nearly $3,000 to break the lease. This whole experience has been insane to me so please reconsider living here.

Samantha did a great job answering all of our questions and informing us of how things work. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like a good fit for my elderly parents. Too big of an apartment complex. Thanks for your time.

I moved into this complex three months ago, and while everything initially seemed fine, my experience has quickly become frustrating, disappointing, and unacceptable. Two weeks ago, I discovered mold surrounding my bedroom window and immediately contacted the office expecting the issue to be taken seriously. Maintenance responded by claiming it was “condensation” and simply painted over the affected area with regular white paint rather than addressing the source of the moisture, or mold. I contacted the office again and explained that water accumulates on the window daily, which continues to cause mold growth. Management was dismissive and attempted to deny the issue, referring to it as “mildew,” despite mildew being a form of mold. I was then told the problem was caused by my air conditioning being set to 75 degrees, which directly contradicts previous statement I was given that it needs to be kept below 78 degrees. This made it clear that responsibility was being avoided rather than the issue being resolved. I attempted to work with management by requesting a transfer to another unit or the ability to break my lease due to unsafe living conditions. Both options were denied, and I was told my only choice was to pay $2,600 to terminate the lease. Additionally, both myself and the other resident in this apartment have been experiencing ongoing health issues for weeks. After testing negative for common illnesses, we are increasingly concerned that the unresolved mold may be contributing to these symptoms. This experience has made it clear that resident health and safety are not a priority here. I find this whole experience to be absolutely unacceptable and disgusting so please think about moving into this complex.
