In response to Kathy Frazier's review, on behalf of Southern Fixin's by Tony Colvin, we are so very sorry for any hardship that you may have endured on Monday. We had a family emergency in which our granddaughter was brutally attacked in the face and leg by a dog and also our dear friend lost his wife and brother on the same day. I am not sure if Tony forgot your appointment due to grief, stress or just human error, but I can assure you that is very uncharacteristic of him. Tony did try to contact you yesterday, (Wed) to apologize and left you a message to please call him so that he could make things right with you. Your review is the first bad review we have ever gotten in the 40 plus years that we have been in business. I am sure we all forget and make mistakes in life, but we believe in forgiveness and second chances, unlike some people. A simple phone call to us, asking if we were on our way would have been the better approach. We feel so blessed from all the calls and text from our customers who saw your post here and on the Neighborhood group, that were concerned that we may have been sick, since our customers know that we operate our business and our life with God, honesty and integrity. Poor business practices. Do NOT waste your time calling Southern Fixin’s because the owner does not show up for an appointment and does not call to let you know he’s not coming. Glad to know this before I let him anywhere near a repair that I needed to have done. If he can’t even show up for an appointment, he can’t be trusted to do the job correctly, or even at all. Don’t waste your time with this business. I was wondering why he didn’t have any reviews out there. Now I know.
One of the most honest and incredible contractors I've ever worked with! His remodel on our home turned out perfectly. Tony is great at what he does and doesn't skip corners.
Tony does great work! I highly recommend him. He has 40 years of experience and pays attention to detail. You can count on him for quality work.
