We finally completed our addition including a full kitchen renovation, deck and three season room. Sunburst did a great job and we are loving our new space. It feels like a winery and a dream come true. It was great to work with Bozidar, Mike, John and the team! Thank you all for helping our vision come to life.

We hired Sunburst Construction to build a new deck for us along with a custom - and we are VERY happy with the end result. The deck is a walkout, so we put down the waterproof material so we could create a space underneath that was usable. They installed a ceiling, lights, fans, and a mounted heater that look great and created a functional space. We also wanted a simple bar (fridge, trash, countertop) and they built us something that worked for our needs and looks beautiful. There were some challenges with project management which is the difference between 4 and 5 starts on the rating. But our sales guy "B" was amazing, and the COO, Aliya, was incredibly responsive and helpful every time we needed something. They both went above and beyond. I would hire Sunburst again and refer them to people I know.

⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) I contacted Sunburst Construction for a deck resurfacing project and was initially encouraged by their responsiveness, detailed proposal, and competitive pricing. Unfortunately, my experience changed after reviewing the contract. I had concerns about the provision requiring final payment upon “substantial completion,” even if punch-list items remained unresolved. As a homeowner making a significant investment, I felt final payment should be tied to completion of all agreed-upon punch-list items identified during the final walkthrough. I raised these concerns and requested a reasonable modification to the contract language. However, Sunburst was unwilling to make any changes to address them. This left me uncomfortable with the level of protection available to the homeowner if workmanship issues or incomplete items were discovered at the end of the project. As a result, I chose not to move forward with the project and did not sign the contract. To be fair, I cannot comment on the quality of Sunburst’s construction work because no work was performed at my home. My review is based solely on the proposal, contract review, and negotiation process. I would strongly encourage prospective customers to carefully review the contract terms, payment schedule, punch-list provisions, and warranty exclusions before signing. —— response to the owners response —— Your answer to my question about final payment being made after final walk through - depending on my satisfaction - was not sufficient to protect me. As a result, your contract terms are one-sided and not fair.

Sunburst exceeded my expectations with their patio work! From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and clear communication made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The final result is stunning—exactly what I envisioned. If you're looking for top-notch service and craftsmanship, Sunburst delivers. Highly recommend!
