HUGE “Thank You” to the team at Sunrise Contractors for making our house on Treasure Island not only useable again …. but better than before. After Hurricane Helene’s storm surge put 32” of water in our house, there were days when we wondered if we would ever be able to use our family home again. After all, we didn't get a permit to make repairs until July 2025. Still … it took a change in contractors in late-December 2025 to really make things happen. Enter our heroes: Chris and Steve Treat, along with Tracy and Tanner at Sunrise Contractors … plus their roster of sub-contractors. Once they took on the project …. progress was immediately evident. Even though we were living in Jacksonville, the level of communication was superb. They told us what they were going to do …. And then did it! Oh, and the project was completed on-time and on-budget.

We hired Sunrise Home Remodeling for a full home renovation after meeting with several contractors, and their approach immediately stood out. They spent time understanding how we actually use our home and suggested layout changes that made a real difference. Throughout the project, communication stayed clear and decisions were explained before moving forward. The team handled unexpected issues calmly and offered practical solutions instead of shortcuts. The finished home feels more open, functional, and thoughtfully designed. It doesn't feel like a surface-level update-it feels like a space that was carefully reworked to fit our lifestyle.

Chris and Steve went above and beyond to make sure this job was absolutely perfect. Through some permitting struggles, these gentlemen did everything they could to complete my wife’s office addition to exactly what we wanted, and then some. Exactly what our contract said, was complete to the “T” and we are beyond happy with our choice, SUNRISE CONTRACTORS! Thank you gentlemen, many years will be enjoyed in this addition!

We had a great experience with Sunrise Contractors for our new roof. Chris Treat was very responsive and quick to schedule the job. Tracy, the office manager, was friendly and thorough. Chris called back right away after I left a message that we needed to replace our roof because it was approaching 15 years old. Chris gave us a verbal estimate and when we agreed Tracy prepared the contract, the paperwork for the permit and the payment schedule. When the permit was issued we were on the work schedule right away. We were told what to expect as far as the delivery of the dumpster & materials one day, and an early start for work the following day. The firm has a great team who worked very hard! They started by clearing debris off the roof and out of the gutters that we hadn’t been able to do after the hurricanes. The workers did a beautiful job on the roof which of course passed inspection. The fascia, soffits and gutters look good; the team picked up any nails off the ground, raked and swept, so the house looked much better afterward than before! We also got a wind mitigation report that we asked for. We highly recommend Sunrise Contractors. The business is honest, fair and very professional. Tracy was amazing working in the office and Chris made everything go smoothly from start to finish!

I hired Sunrise Contractors, St. Pete to build a custom shed in my back yard on Treasure Island. Chris did an outstanding job that exceeded my expectations and gave me a fair price. The shed survived Debby, Helene and Milton with 0 damage. In fact it faired better than my block house. I have already hired Sunrise to repair my storm damage and will remain my go-to contractor for the foreseeable future.
