The Neill Company

The Neill Company recently did a re-roof for my home in Avondale. I have nothing but good things to say about the experience from beginning to the end. Doug came out and was great explaining all of the details for the job. He was able to fit the job in very quickly into his schedule. Ricky did a great job replacing wood on the rafter tails and overseeing the process the day the roof was being replaced. The crew showed up early and everyone knew exactly what they were doing and cleaned up nicely before they left. Of course pictures were taken during the process of the wood decking that needed to be replaced. Doug supplied me with the COC / paperwork right away. Two of my neighbors also have used The Neil Company and are pleased as well! I would highly recommend this company.

We met Mr Doug Neill through a chance encounter, when he and his Company were putting on a roof for a neighbor. We were very impressed with Doug as an individual, and so we kept his business card, and contacted him a few years later when we needed a new roof. He treated us with kindness and respect, guiding us with choices which we are happy we made with his advice, and his proposal on the roof replacement was within the range of other bids we had received. We contracted with Mr Neill, and we’re exceptionally pleased with the results. He and his Company went the extra mile, which is very unusual these days, and that was much appreciated! His roofing crew were polite and very considerate, working hard, and coordinating seamlessly with one another to complete the entire job, including cleanup, in just one day. In late 2024, a hurricane caused a large tree to fall on the roof of a property we own, causing damage to the rafters as well as the roof shingles and decking. We immediately called Doug Neill for help, and he worked seamlessly with our insurance company, taking much of the stress off our shoulders, and the roof was replaced with quality work as quickly as possible, even though structural engineering reports were required. After the last storm I decided to have my roof inspected. It was 18 years old and I was concerned about going into hurricane season with out having it looked at. My neighbor recommended the Neill company so I gave them a call. Rufus came out the next day to inspect my roof. When he got up there, he found significant storm damage. He was able to show me the whole thing with a recording he had made and I was really surprised to see how bad it was. I thought I was going to have to spend a fortune, something I don't have, and replace it but he informed me that due to it being storm damage I might be able to get it replaced through my home owners insurance. He was patient and respectful, taking the time to answer all of my questions and help me through the whole process. When all was said and done, I was able to get a brand new roof put on my house with minimal cost to me. I could cry with how stressed I was thinking of spending that money but Rufus was able to make dreams come true. The roof looks great and my house looks updated. Best of all, my homeowners insurance actually lowered my rate because I now have a new roof. I can't recommend Rufus and the Neill company enough.

The Neil Co did an outstanding roof replacement on my home. They were very professional and did the job quickly and on schedule. I am a women homeowner and often get taken advantage of but the neil co stepped in and completely took care of me. They gave me a very fair price and i feel fortunate that i used them. I will Recommend them for years to come.
