I have used Tom and his crew to replace two roofs in the past year. There work is very good, they pay attention to the details and delivered on everything we discussed at the begining of each job. I Have been most impressed by the crew who takes pride in their work, have the skills required to install all materials (see pictures) and always leave the job site cleaner than they found it.
Amazing customer service! I had a great experience with Tom Joyce Roofing inc! Would 10/10 recommend any & all of their services! We hired them for moving services to transport furniture into our new home. They were very friendly and professional, great communication skills! fast response, flexible to our schedule. I will definitely be using them again in the future!
One Star is too good for this company. Writing this review to hopefully save others some time, money and hassle. I hired Tom Joyce Roofing to replace my roof after Hurricane Ian. Here I am 3 years later and I get notification from my insurance company that I never had the roof replaced! Tim from Tom Joyce Roofing opened the permit, however never completed the proper steps to get a final inspection. I have attempted to call multiple times to only be sent to voicemail and never received a phone call back. I have also sent emails to both contact emails for this company, to no avail. As I am looking at reviews here on Google, I see this is the norm for this business and I am not the only customer of this company that is having the same issues. So basically, I have to find a licensed roofing contractor to take over this permit or hire one to open a new permit and replace my roof again AFTER LESS THAN 3 YEARS. The county is no help and to be honest need to not allow this company to pull any permits or do business since they can’t complete the proper paperwork. I have seen other reviews stating they are working under another company name. That company is Tom Joyce Roll Forming Inc! Stay away from these companies!
After an out of town company messed up a new roof install, I called Tom Joyce Roofing to fix a small leak, hoping I could trust a local company. Unfortunately, they just made it worse. Walked off the job after two days with no communication, and they left tools, materials, ladders, garbage, open buckets of tar, and shoes (???) on my roof. Destroyed my aluminum soffit and facia. I called, left messages and emailed. It was several days later they responded - and wanted to double the price from what was previously agreed. Upon inspecting the quality of their work at that point, I found shingles that we installed improperly by cutting the height of the shingle, which will certainly cause a leak in the future (see pictures). Tar was scattered all over the newly installed roof in sections not included in this repair. Flashing was installed incorrectly, standing as much as 1.5" above the roof deck. None of this is acceptable on a roof. Upon sending a worker to pick up the tools, I showed him the improper installation, and invited the owner to call me. I never received a call.
Highly recommend this roofing company. The work done was in a professional manner from start to end. Every step was communicated to me and followed through. The installers themselves were pleasant hard working individuals who made sure to leave the outside of my house very clean. In addition, their quote was lower than 2 of their competitors. Money well spent.
