Whittle's Roofing

In November 2025 we were in need of a new roof and a roof to wall connection for wind mitigation on our home that was built in 1965. After getting estimates from multiple roofing companies, we settled on Whittle's. Whittle's has been licensed in Alachua County for more than 40 years. We knew of 3 other homes in our neighborhood that had roofs installed by the same company and were very satisfied with the work. Eric gave us the lowest estimate with high quality roofing products. He was willing to answer many questions (and there were a number of them). Owner, Dave Pabst, and his crew accomplished the wind mitigation and installed secondary water resistance before the reroof. Even when encountering specific issues with the roof to wall connection process, Dave consulted with other professionals to mitigate the issue. He was present and on the roof from start to finish. We have been very satisfied with the result and would definitely use Whittle's Roofing again in the future.

I was having some issues with my roof after the hurricanes last year and decided to have it looked at this year before the season began. Eric came out and did the estimate and was very professional. David and his crew showed up the next day to start the process. Not only were they professional but personable and respectful of us and our property. They found some issues that were not found till the shingles were removed and made sure to go over them with me before completing the work. They were so clean that I swear they took more than the mess they made. They also did some light tree cut backs to prevent further roof damage. I would definately use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone needing a new roof or repair. What made it even better is that I was supporting a local business that has been around for years, and I can see why.

State Farm said replace the roof or lose my home insurance. I called Whittles Roofing and Eric was quick to respond and after inspecting my roof gave me a quote and explained every step they would take to do the right job. The owner David showed up at 7am and he and his crew completed the roof reshingle in a day and a half. This is the second roof David has done for me and he did not disappoint! My new roof looks great! Thanks David and crew!
