My name is Ed Brown and in 2015 I was the chairman of the building committee which selected Mike and Rodney's company to build a new sanctuary for Bell Shoals Church in Apollo Beach, Fl. After verifying with two other churches who had used Wilburn, we awarded them the project. Not only was their bid far less than the other two bids we received but we found Mike and Rodney very flexible and easy to work with. The project was completed on time, within budget, and according to code. They would be our first call if we have a similar need in the future. I read the one star review and I'm a little confused by it. One reason is that the Apollo Beach project was completed in 2016 and it was built with all LED lighting. I don't know if that person is addressing our Brandon, Fl. campus or not but the newest building on that campus, the worship center, was also built with all LED lighting. Bottom line is that we found Wilburn Construction (Mike and Rodney) very honest and forthright with us and have absolutely nothing but compliments and thanks for them.
Beware! Do your research! These people claim to be Christians but they take kickbacks! Yes, yes they do - I have proof. The father gets the church to buy the supplies from his SON!!!! And guess what - they prices are inflated beyond belief. I offered my church (Belle Shoals - not anymore though) ALL FREE NEW LED LIGHTING and they declined so they could funnel $$$ to these thieves.
