Woody Cushing Roofing

Mr Cushing finished my roof last week and I could not be happier with his work. The crew was kind, efficient, and hard working. It’s a huge roof and they finished in 2.5 days. Mr. Cushing was a pleasure to deal with and stayed on top of the job every step of the way. Part way through the job they found some rotting wood around the chimney. They showed me photos of the damage and though this added to the cost of the job it was under the initial estimate for the extra work. And very affordable. Mr. Cushing is honest and won’t steer you wrong.

On My mom’s roof, I probably have a couple of dozen pictures from going back and forth with Woodrow, he really went the extra distance and fixed a lot of latent defects from previous company. Things are done right now!!! Truly a great contractor and really cared!!

After buying a house last summer and discovering several undisclosed roof leaks, I went through the hassle of trying to not only get a roofing company to come out to the house, but even get a phone call returned. Finally, I was given the number of Woodrow Cushing by an acquaintance who heard my complaints about not being able to find a reliable roofing company. Everything about my interactions with Woodrow and his crew was professional, and they always arrived and did what was promised. Proper expectations & timelines were set and followed through with, and their communication is spot-on. After trying to go the route of patching a few areas, which they did a great job with, we finally decided to put a new roof on. These guys were very responsive with all phases and did a fantastic job. The new roof looks great, and we no longer have the stress of worrying about roof leaks. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone needing quality roof work and with no run-around.

I can not say enough good things about this company. Woodrow came to my house, on time, was very professional, answered all my questions, explained what he wanted to do and why, and even helped me in deciding the perfect color choice to keep in line with the style of our house. This company replaced our entire roof (house/carport/outbuilding) last summer and it has been through all the storms from then til now with no issues. After Sally attacked, Woodrow himself came back to check on his work and found some small issues with our siding and fireplace (not the roof) that gave us some trouble during the storm. He had his team come out and take care of it the next day. He absolutely went above and beyond what he had to do in order to help us feel secure in our home. We obtained several quotes from companies when we decided on a replacement. Woody Cushing’s quote was very competitive- especially taking into consideration the high quality materials they used in our “trouble areas” that other companies overlooked. They included the flashing around our chimney in the quote as well. Other companies planned on charging slightly less for any plywood that may be needed, but the flashing was not included, nor the higher quality materials. For some of the reviewers of roofing companies that say things about nails on the ground: I feel like we need to be a bit more realistic. His team absolutely cleaned up their mess, and went around several times with a huge magnet to pull any pieces of metal that may have escaped. After they left, we invested the whole $15 to get a magnet at the hardware store. The kids had a fun after school chore for about a week where they could see who got the most metal (not much). On an entire roof rip out and install, we expected there to be some straggler nails floating around on the ground! I highly recommend this company!

Woodrow and crew were with out a doubt, the most Professional bunch of roofer, I've ever met. One of the crew accidentally broke a gutter, Woodrow corrected the gutter right after the roof was finish. As a retired Marine I HIGHLY recommended that you talk to Woodrow and listen to what he recommends, he will not lead you wrong. The Lead on my crew "J.D.", was on time and proformed quality work and got it from his crew. The whole crew did a outstanding job of cleaning up after the beautiful roof was completed. As I said the Cushing Roofing Company is the best in Pensacola in this opinionated Marine mind. Thank you, for a job well done "Cushing Roofing Company" OohRah.
