My washer & dryer was in my basement. I decided it was time for it to be upstairs. I was limited in places they could go, so I contacted Milton Construction to come out to discuss turning my back porch into a laundry/closet room. Mr Milton came and met with my sons & I to discuss my vision. A few weeks later he & Domenic came back to discuss further. A drawing was made and put into motion. A contract was made and signed with a start & completion date, price and detailed information about every aspect of the project. Early January the demolition of my back porch started. Framing of the new room moved right along. The new room was to be connected to my bedroom that had a double window overlooking my back porch. I live in a log cabin. When it was time to connect the two rooms together they removed the window from my bedroom and started cutting into my logs which I was nervous about, but they made it happen so easily. I could go on, but the bottom line is they done exceptional quality work. They cleaned up daily and never left for the weekend with any mess lying around outside & inside. I received great workmanship from the guys. They were courteous and always made me feel part of the project. Completion was on time. Cory was the project manager for my job, he was very easy to talk with and kept me informed. I did not do away with my entire porch, they also installed new decking and screened in my porch, I also had new interior doors installed throughout my home. I just love my new room and porch. I highly recommend Milton Construction Co for your building and remodeling needs. They see your vision and turns it into reality. They are a local company to my community and have been for years. Todd Milton and his very professional team turned a vision into a place that we can be proud of. The Bruce building, part of the Charlotte County library system, was built in the mid to late 1830s. Although the building had been maintained over the years, it had lost its original Federal period feel. With our input and their expertise, the main foyer and the Genealogy room look wonderful. They were patient and tolerant in dealing with a board of women who had strong opinions and ideas! We are so pleased with the finished project that we hope to have them back soon to renovate the children’s room. I would also love to give a shout out to Kelly Mann, their interior designer, for her help in finding the perfect lighting fixtures and color scheme. And a special thank you to Brad Dorris for being an awesome project manager. Thank you for all the updates and for keeping the communication lines open. I had a great experience with Dominic, Cory and the company building a two-car carport with a deck. They were good with communicating changes, scheduling and resolving issues. Two events that I think are good notes for their competency and helpfulness: 1. When I was first starting this project, I paid a check for designing a carport at the end of the my driveway. Dominic looked up the ordinance and discovered that building that close to the road would require an exemption. He advised me not to seek the exemption and gave back the check. Ultimately I tried to get the exemption and was denied, later building the carport behind the house. 2. I locked my keys in my car when they were working at my house, and they helped me get into the car without damaging anything. The carport looks great and all my nitpicks were addressed in a timely manner. The aesthetic choices match my house closely and I'm very happy with the quality and outcome.

The entire Milton crew did a great job and was very professional. The job site was always organized and cleaned up at the end of the day or over a weekend. This project was to repair a portion of the infrastructure of a 15 year old deck and update the stairs and risers with current trim and decking boards, Milton’s project process was well planned and executed; they came up with creative solutions to problems.

I went to Todd with a house plan that I literally drew on a piece of paper. Basically I asked, this is what I want, can it be built? He made it happen. I was living in CT at the time and he often met me on Saturday mornings to go over all the details. First we painstakingly went through the design, room by room, doors, windows, roof lines, etc. Then he took the time to methodically price out everything on different levels. He listed every bell and whistle I wanted; then ways to save money so that I could have some of the bells and whistles; and yet a third way of how to get close to those bells and whistles. In the end it was crystal clear what would work best for me and my budget. Our contract had a timeline as to when things would begin, the sequence of the building process and how long each stage would take, it was spot-on! I was very decisive as to what I wanted, I didn’t deviate from our original plans and in the end, the budget he presented in our contract was accurate. I wasn’t available on a daily basis but communication was always open. The details I wanted (kitchen and living room shelves, hardwood floors, pantry barn door, screened in porch, walk-in master shower…) they made it all happen. The attention to detail was spectacular! The Milton Construction crew and all his contractors were polite, hardworking, professional and meticulous. I highly recommend Milton Construction. I’m very grateful for all their hard work because I now have a beautiful farmhouse, that I call home.
