Dan the Tiki Man just rethatched my tiki hut and let me tell you—they knocked it out of the park! From the very beginning, I worked with a rep named Mike, who was absolutely phenomenal. He was responsive, communicative, and kept me updated every step of the way. The team even started the job earlier than scheduled—when does that ever happen!? The crew was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and worked with military-level precision. The clean-up? UNMATCHED. They removed every single piece of old thatch on the ground (and trust me, there was a LOT) and even returned all my outdoor furniture to its exact original spot. Oh—and did I mention they worked through the rain to get it done? True dedication. The pricing was more than fair, especially for the level of service and quality delivered. The new thatch is absolutely stunning. My husband and I already enjoyed one evening cocktail under it, just marveling at their craftsmanship. We’re in love with the final result! Exceptional experience! Dan and his team are amazing to work with and the result is stunning. I had the pleasure of working with Dan, Mike, Kadir and Lucas to make my tiki vision a reality. There were some unique challenges with the location where I wanted my tiki to go, and they did 110% to make it happen. Everyone went above and beyond from start to finish. Dan met with me initially to review the overall scope of the project, and I worked with Mike once I was ready to get things started. From that point through the end of the project, Mike was responsive, professional, knowledgable and communicative. I knew what to expect every step of the way, and when a challenge came up, he had multiple solutions to propose. Kadir handled the scheduling for my project, including the inspections with the city. Everything went smoothly. He was responsive, friendly, professional and communicative. His customer service skills are top-notch!! Lucas was the foreman for my project, and I cannot say enough about how hard he and his team worked. They worked in the blazing sun. They worked in the rain. They worked on the weekends. Their work was meticulous and the results are beautiful. Every person on the team repeated to me multiple times how much they wanted me to be happy with how the tiki turned out, and it was very obvious how much pride they all take in their work. My expectations were exceeded and I LOVE my tiki. Prior to starting this project, I interviewed multiple tiki vendors and did a lot of research. Like I said above, the location presented some challenges and I knew I needed someone with experience who could work with me to get it done right. Dan's customer-first approach was evident from our first meeting, and is also clearly reflected by every member of his team. I am so glad I chose them! This is my second time working with Dan the Tiki Man and I couldn't be happier. Kathy was very helpful and responsive when working on the estimate and getting us on the schedule which was only days later after the deposit was paid. The crew showed up on time, and were very efficient. They did a great job on the re-thatching and cleaned up after themselves. The tiki hut looks great!
