We hired them to perform wood rot repairs to the fascia board of my Mother's home up for sale in Orange Park. They were courteous, arrived on time and did an excellent job performing the repair. They were even able to save the existing gutters. Honest as the day is long, I over-paid them for the full amount of the job on completion (I forgot to deduct the pre-paid deposit). They returned the over payment check to me in hand and I was able to write them a new one. Any other contractor would've just deposited that over-payment check and kept quiet. They're great!

These are the real craftsmen in town. When several mill companies wouldn’t even return a quote and others came in around 40k$, they hand-built a large set of custom windows for half. When preparing my house for market, they solved complex logistical issues during covid to get my new roof installed ASAP.

We hired Poag Brothers to remodel /update the main bathroom in our 50+ yr old home. We wanted a walk in shower to replace the bathtub, etc. Poag Brothers took it down to the studs, and started from scratch, giving us a beautiful bathroom, it's so much more than we ever dreamed possible! The employees made the whole 3 week experience as comfortable/pleasant for us as possible, treating us with utmost respect....what a great bunch of guys! Recently hired Poag Brothers General Contracting to replace 6 large columns on the front of our home in Ortega. Joe, Kevin and the rest of the staff did an excellent job...The new columns look fantastic!!!! The job was completed in a timely manner, the workers cleaned up behind themselves every day and were courteous of our home at all times. I highly recommend Poag Brothers General Contracting!

We have had a roof leak around our fireplace for several years and have used different contractors without success. Poag Brothers rep Jay Ahlers gave us a quote, which was reasonable, in our opinion, assuming the leak could be repaired permanently. The job required replacement of the chimney cap and a section of shingles. He arrived on time, did the work quickly and efficiently, and, in spite of the 20-hours of rain in the past 24 hours, there were no leaks. He also replaced eight screens on the patio enclosure. Overall, we are very pleased with the work and the professionalism exhibited by Jay and Joe Poag. We recommend them and will use their company when our roof needs to be replaced.
