Reliant Roofing

PLEASE look elsewhere!!! I was so pleased with Reliant when John Waugh sold me my roof in 2019. In July of 2022, I found water damage to the wall in my home (see first 3 pictures attached). Reliant came out to do a roof inspection, and found that area around my chimney had not been sealed well. I was still a happy customer, as they had completed the inspection and were going to come out and complete the repairs. They sent out Norman, a subcontractor who tried to complete the work in one evening. Please see all of the remaining pictures for his so-called repair. Reliant deemed this a successful repair. Are you kidding me??? I have been fighting with this organization since August of 2022. They insist on only repairing the one panel, but the house was built in the 60s and this paneling is nowhere to be found according to their first subcontractor, Norman, and their second, Mario. Both stated, ON THEIR OWN, without any suggestion from me, that if the paneling could not be matched, the whole room's paneling would need to be replaced, so that it would all match, but Reliant has told them no, and that they need to build the paneling out themselves. Refer to the pictures of the repair to see how that turned out. Please keep in mind that through all of this Reliant has refused to return phone calls or emails. For every 5-10 voicemails or emails that my fiance or I leave we MAY get a response from reliant. This review is aimed at protecting anyone who is considering this company for their home repairs, replacements or projects. I beg you to keep shopping!! I once thought very highly of them, and would still if they had handled this repair with integrity and class, but they have not.

***Final Update*** We've had several big rains and no leaks. Super happy with the final result. I am impressed with the conviction in which they stand behind their work. I did not have the intention of raising this to a 5 star review. The level of work that was done changed my mind. ***Update*** They contacted me about my experience. They were very empathetic and shared my concerns with the quality of the work done previously. They came out to, hopefully, make one final repair. I was very impressed with the quality of this last repair. They even repaired a corner of the pitched roof that was outside the original scope of work. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the extra preventative measure was taken. They made it easy and there was no negotiation. They wanted to make it right and I believe they did. I can appreciate a company that stands by their work. I am hesitant to go to 5 stars yet, but once I feel confident in the repairs made (after a few good Florida rains) I will definitely re-evaluate. ****************** We had several bids on our flat roof. I had 2 roofers back out due to adding the Poly-ISO to get a slight pitch in my roof. These guys were the only ones that didn't want to remove the skylights and would guarantee them. I have had the roof almost a year now, and it's very frustrating. I pointed out the puddling the week after the roof was finished and was told it's normal. The system only gives me a 1/4" pitch, but I didn't expect the puddles to the extent I found. We've had to have 6 repairs to date, all in the same spot. The repairs are worse with every visit. You can see in the pics, they're just laying down more and more material. Now they're just going up the flashing. I haven't even started on my ceiling repairs yet because it leaks again every few months. They are prompt to come out for every call, usually without warning. I am just not sure when the leaks will actually be repaired and I can move on with renovations inside. For flat roofs, you might want to go another route.

When we first called for an estimate for hurricane shutters, I didn't know what to expect. Living at the beaches in FL, we stress trying to secure our home almost every hurricane season. I had done a little research online but was nowhere near what I considered well educated on the subject. Kevin came to go over everything with me and was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He made it easy to understand what our choices were and what the best options were to fit our needs. They provided a really nice leather binder with information on all the different services they offer, which helped a lot going over things afterwards with my husband (who wasn't able to be present for the estimate). He also was amazing about tolerating my several follow-up emails asking for estimates on different combinations of products. Once we decided on exactly what we wanted, they were also able to set us up with a financing option that was one year with no interest. Matthew came out with his team to do final measurements and then order our materials. The materials took about 12 weeks in which time Matthew was sending me updates every couple weeks to make sure I was current on the latest progress. I really appreciated the check-ins! Once the materials were received I got an email with our scheduled installation date. The team showed up on install day, exactly when they said they'd arrive and were very nice. They got right to work and answered my tons of questions with a smile. We ended up getting colonial shutters, roll down shutters, and accordion shutters and they all exceeded my expectations! There is one colonial shutter that had some scuffing on it, likely from shipping to Reliant, but as soon as it was noticed, Matthew stated he was going to order a replacement and he would get it to us ASAP. The customer service with this company is phenomenal. We even came home today to a thank you package from Reliant including some cool Reliant swag! I highly recommend this company for all your hurricane shutter (and roofing) needs! They're worth every penny! We know who we're calling for our new roof in a couple years. 😊

I called Reliant Roofing to a new roof. There team was on time and professional. All old roofing and bad wood was removed and placed in the dumpster that was in my driveway. Upon completion the on site supervisor made sure the surrounding yard was free of roofing nails and debris. I highly recommend Reliant for anyone that needs a new roof.

Very pleased with this company! From initial consultation to completion of our roof install, they were super professional and friendly. They promised the job would only take one day and David Tuaty, the project manager, delivered on that promise in a big way! He provided 2 teams of workers to get the work done ahead of the Florida summer afternoon storms. They were done by 3pm! Highly recommend...thank you Reliant!
