My husband and I purchased a piece of property in Fort Pierce with the dream of building our first home together. As we searched through Zillow looking at new construction homes for inspiration, we kept coming across homes that immediately stood out to us because of their quality, design, floor plan, and attention to detail. Time after time, we noticed the same name in the listings: Carharp Homes. After seeing their work, we knew we had found the builder we wanted to trust with our dream home - so we made the phone call. From that moment on, everything fell into place, and the rest is history. Building our first home together was one of the most important milestones in our lives, and we truly could not have chosen a better team to bring that dream to life. From the very beginning to the final walkthrough, the entire experience was seamless, organized, and far beyond our expectations. From the moment we met Krystal at the Coastal model in Port St. Lucie, we knew we were in good hands. She guided us through every step of the process with professionalism, patience, and genuine care, always making us feel informed and supported. What could have been an overwhelming experience was made incredibly smooth and enjoyable because of her dedication and communication. Richard did an outstanding job building our home, and the quality of craftsmanship is evident in every detail. This is far from a cookie-cutter house — the design, finishes, materials, and overall construction truly reflect exceptional quality and pride in workmanship. Our friends and family continue to be amazed not only by how beautiful the home is, but also by how positive and stress-free the entire building experience was for us. We were so impressed during our final walkthrough with Trevor. He took the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of the home, both inside and out. From the AC system and water shutoffs to the electrical panel, switches, and every feature throughout the house, he made sure we fully understood how everything worked. His attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to answer every question gave us so much confidence and peace of mind as first-time homeowners. The communication from everyone throughout the company was exceptional from start to finish. We always felt valued and genuinely cared for throughout the entire process. We are beyond grateful for the experience we had and absolutely love our new home. We purchased our home 5 years ago with Carharp Construction, and we absolutely LOVE our home. From day one, we felt we received incredible value, outstanding workmanship, and true quality by choosing this builder. Recently, we needed to replace our sliding patio doors and were having difficulty finding a reputable contractor. We reached out to the owner, Richard, and without hesitation, he personally assisted us and connected us with a trusted contact. Rich and his team are absolutely fantastic. Fast, communicative, and take serious ownership of their craft. This would be my first and only recommendation. Also a thank you to Mark and Krystal for their efforts in planning along the way. If I knew the names of everyone involved I would list them here. Again, the ownership and passion to bring a project to life is in shorter supply these days, and Carharp is a group that still has it. I’m writing this review today because I know I will not ever get the chance to speak with the builder again. When we bought this home almost seven years ago, the builder told us he had been building homes for a long time but was just starting his own business and wanted to build quality homes people would recommend. As first-time homebuyers, we trusted that. Unfortunately, we’ve been very unsatisfied over time. We were never told to register our AC unit to qualify for the 10-year warranty, which we missed completely. Since then, we’ve had ongoing AC problems and now have to pay full price for parts—something that could have been avoided with proper guidance. This is important information that should have been explained to first-time buyers. We’ve also experienced poor craftsmanship throughout the home. A bathroom tile broke off and revealed no proper backing or insulation behind the wall, which is concerning in a high-moisture area. Exterior issues, including stucco work, also show a lack of quality and attention to detail. Overall, corners seem to have been cut, and important guidance was not provided. I would not recommend based on our long-term experience. Definitely wished I went with another builder or bought a different home.

We just closed on our beautiful new CarHarp home in White City and couldn’t be more enthralled! Richard was incredibly flexible, Krystal was very responsive throughout and Trevor… he was ELITE! I sell homes for another builder and my fiancé builds homes for an even different builder. We have spent our life together making other people’s dream home a reality but for the first time, CarHarp made OUR dream home a reality! The home was build solid and beautiful, the job-site was always pristine, and the service was exceptional. THANK YOU!! 10/10 recommend!
