They had me sign a contract for around 17k for a new roof. Put a tarp over n my roof which they said was free of charge over the phone. Only to be billed 6k for a tarp. Get a notice of lien on my house before I get the final bill call in and they slam me for over 30k without any notice or permission to increase the price or request for additional work. Most contractors would never do this and it’s unethical. Thankfully I had the money to pay the 12k extra they charged to get the lien off my house but imagine how bad it is for the people who can’t and lose everything this company needs to be shut down. Whatever you do run from this company, they can’t even legitimately explain the extra charges.

I got a quote from FRS/MINORCAN as I was in litigation with the insurance company. They came with no notice early Thanksgiving morning to tarp the roof creating a ruckus while we were trying to sleep. Then when they started the roof some time later they were done fast. Done in 2-3 days. I don't know who they got to pass their inspection on the 4th day, but they left my house in shambles. The fascias were torn and hanging. My roof was left exposed for anything to crawl or grow underneath. This was months ago. They claim they're not responsible for the fascias and soffits and I would have to get someone else to do them. It's part of the roof. Why wouldn't this have been done? Why wasn't it (allegedly) included in the quote for the settlement? They're taking no accountability. Reaching out for quotes to other companies lead me to complain. What they did was unethical and poor consumer treatment. Put a lien on my house after I repeated told them I was waiting for the insurance settlement check.

These guys are the worst. They put half of a tarp over my leaking flat roof and charged $875 without even discussing the cost of it. The tarp didn’t do jack except trap more water under. I went with a different company to fix the flat roof. These guys then put a lien on my flat roof for the bunk tarp job. I settled it but, man, what a waste of time and money. Booooo 👎

The Florida Roof Specialists must have learned their lesson. Our new roof is beautiful and they were very helpful. We ran into a few difficulties (e.g., they lost a check that had to be reissued by the insurance company) and their business office was unnecessarily aggressive, but they were helpful and easy to work with. At the end, I was asked to pay beyond the deductible, but when I reminded them that I was promised that I wouldn't pay anything other than the deductible, they modified the invoice and the bill was then paid in full. The sales group was great and the business side worked with me, but I recommend frequently communicating with them and getting things in writing. I recommend them - the roof and final experience was worth it. I do wish that they would put the gutters back up though.

Very disappointing. Staff seems to be high in turnover. I was given the run around for almost an entire year after install. Installers were sloppy and even broke a pipe and used painters tape as their fix! They lied about saying they fixed all the things they damaged. I had to get a 3rd party to repair the pipe. The experience was terrible. Managers said they would get things resolved, never did. Not only these things but they also failed to file the insurance correctly. I do not recommend them.
