Used Villanova Construction Company for rebuilding 2 catch basins and resurfacing our business parking lot. David E. at Villanova updated us regularly and got the job done! The parking lot looks great and the quality of work was top notch. I would recommend to anyone looking to work with a quality company.

Steven Maine's review is not accurate. "decided they would rather cover it up and hope I wouldn't notice", really? a company deliberately blocks off a persons sewer pipe filling his basement with sewage and hopes he "wouldn't notice"? Hmmm doesn't pass the reality test. This reveals the truthfulness of his review. I am the neighbor in Steven's review. Steven was present when Villanova uncovered 2 openings to the sewer main, as well as two city inspectors. He was asked to run water down the drain in his house for several minutes. After that time, no evidence of water or sewer appeared in the hole. Whether he actually ran water, no one knows but him. The city inspectors were convinced neither opening was connected to his house. Fully 2 weeks later, Steven reported his sewer was broken somehow. But he refused to give Villanova a chance to fix it. Instead, he contracted with another company to replace the entire sewer pipe from his house to the sewer main, instead of the 8 feet he reported as affected by Villanova. The other company was on site in less than 2 business hours to replace the sewer. I was present during some of the other companies work. While there, a neighbor stopped to report that his house had a history of sewer problems before he bought it, but Steven vehemently insisted that was not true. His sewer pipe was in extremely bad condition all the way from his house to the street according to the city inspector, but Steven denied that. Then Steven demanded that Villanova pay for the other company's services? He commented, "They knew exactly what they did" Not true. They thought they had been thorough in confirming his sewer was not affected. Truth is, it was an unfortunate mistake that Villanova, at the behest of the city's officials made, and after 2 weeks the owner demanded immediate full replacement. But instead of letting Villanova correct the mistake, he acted imprudently. He could have had the issue corrected for free, but I think he did it deliberately wagering he could get a free sewer pipe.
